My chicken was very dry and wasn't warm at all and my Mac and cheese tasted like it was made with a powdered cheese packet and my roll was dried out and cold. The Sweet Tea was amazing as well as the banana pudding and cheesecake my boyfriend and I shared. Was very surprised to find this at noon. My boyfriend was on lunch break and I said that I haven't been in years but it's fast and good. I felt like I let him down on the good but he cleaned his plate so hopefully his was much better. He ordered the Steak, mashed potatoes and greens. But then asked why I wasn't eating mine.....after taking a bite of my chicken and Mac and cheese he said oh I see ....so I knew it wasn't...

I ate lunch here for the 1st time and was NOT impressed! The food is subpar and lacks seasoning! Most definitely a hospital style cafeteria environment from the food down to the seating! I had the meatloaf and the portion size was about the thickness and size of a smartphone! It covered with a bland tomato paste and the meatloaf itself was just meat! No onions or bell peppers I found! The mashed potatoes were good! The Mac n cheese tasted like milk and butter noodles without any cheese or the flavor of cheese there of! Super good country cooking. The sweet tea is definitely sweet tea. I love that they have the option to add squeezed lemon juice in the tea also. The food here is always so fresh and good. They always have a good crowd here. If there is a line, it usually moves very quickly. The staff is always very friendly and attentive. Very clean establishment. I absolutely love their fried squash side. The desserts are always so delicious, too. I haven't come here and had a bad experience yet. Highly recommend. Especially if you are looking for a good, nice home cooked style meal. Can't get any...
