Mariscos Puerto Vallarta Inc. — Restaurant in Dalton

Excellent find - highly recommended.

Not from the area so we decided to check with google. My buddy and I decided on Mexican food. Found a restaurant and were driving there then I started reading the reviews and they were terrible. We diverted to Mariscos Puerto Vallarta and what a fortunate choice. There was a truck upfront with the hood up like someone was working on their car. Outside looks kinda so-so. Still, we walked in. We’re promptly seated. Service was super friendly. They explained the menu and while we were deciding they brought us chips and salsa. Since the salsa was quite mild, we asked for a more spicy version and they brought us a very nice tomatillo based spicy version. yum. we started with a large shrimp cocktail for my buddy and I got a and mix ceviche (forgot the name) - it had octopus, shrimp, scallops and all sorts of yummy ingredients. Seafood tasted super fresh. The vegetables were crunchy. The acidity/sweetness ratio on the marinade was perfect. Overall an excellent dish. I followed up with a fish tacos. Options were grilled or fried. I went with grilled. A few minutes later I get the plate with the fish piping hot (cooked to order me thinks). I was so full from all the food and the price was ridiculously low for the quality. I’ll be back again and again. Highly highly...

I took my two children with me to this restaurant. The menu was extensive, there are plenty of options for adults and children. We ordered 2 burritos one steak, one chicken and my youngest ordered a hotdog. I also ordered ceviche, I thought I ordered shrimp but I got some sort of fish ceviche. That was not because of the staff though, that was because I didn't specify. The burrito was standard, rice beans, meat, pico. The hotdog was apparently delicious because my youngest devoured it. The burritos were okay, nothing bad but wasn't my favorite either. The ceviche however wasn't to my taste but that being said it wasn't bad. It was vibrant and flavorful, just wasn't my cup of tea.

On another note the staff are amazing. The people and the vibes of the restaurant in my opinion is what makes the place. The music selection was fantastic. The cashier was chill and inviting. The ladies whom waited on me were very accommodating and nice. They took their time and got everything right. Came by for a late lunch and was totally welcomed. Service was 110 % !!! I had the spicy shrimp and octopus with crab salad and rice. Great choice!!! It was amazingly flavorful and was accompanied by a great beverage. Entire staff made my visit legendary. 😊!!! Thank you Mariscos!!! I will certainly return often. I also would like to say that the service is not what I consider to be slow. I think they are cooking fresh instead of holding food forever and reducing quality. My food order was special with multiple ingredients and I was eating within 10 minutes. I also had some chips and salsa while I waited.
