Lin's Bistro — Restaurant in Georgia

Have enjoyed this Chinese and Thai restaurant since they opened a decade ago. But it seems they must have changed management and/or ownership recently. The Hubs and I have ordered takeout from here for years with no issues. Last night, we did our usual order and the food was a disaster. I ordered Szechuan Shrimp, Kung Pao Shrimp and Pan Fried Pot Stickers. Upon picking up the order, I did not recognize one member of staff. Usually I see one or two of the main people. The Szechuan Shrimp, I have ordered probably 20 times before. I have never received anything that looks like this. It was a shrimp, onion, and soup combo that was filled way too much with sauce so much so, it leaked all over everything else in the bag. The sauce is usually a thin brown sauce. This had some red soupy stuff in it. The onions are usually long more like shredded as well as it is supposed to have shredded carrots in it. No carrots, just an overkill on onions and soggy broccoli. If all of that wasn’t bad enough, none of our shrimp between the 2 dishes were deveined (or de-pooped). And the pan seared pot stickers were not the same at all. Even the sauce for them was different. I don’t know what happened as this place was always great and always our number one choice but now we will have to find another Chinese restaurant as we will never...

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Lin’s Bistro. I was informed that I could no longer place orders due to not tipping for previous deliveries, an accusation that is both untrue and upsetting. When I called to express my concerns, I was hung up on three separate times, which only added to the frustration.

My family and I have supported this restaurant consistently for the past three years. Unfortunately, the quality of service has declined significantly. On multiple occasions, I was promised a 30-minute delivery window, but my food didn’t arrive until an hour and a half later. One time, the fried rice was clearly old, and on another occasion, the duck was dry and inedible, which I called to report. The most recent experience involved my food being left at my door despite specific instructions not to do so.

To be denied service and blamed for not tipping when that is not the case is both unfair and unprofessional. I will be reporting this issue to the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce, as this treatment is unacceptable and deeply...

Horrible food! What a huge disappointment! Ordered pad thai got orange stained noodles & chicken that tasted like water. The larb was a small piece of chicken on an iceberg salad served with a dressing that tasted like the smell of cleaning chemicals or concentrated bottled lemon or lime juice. Dumped it out. This place definitely knows nothing about Thai food. Even the white rice had an off taste. We don't understand how this place got such a high rating. Either they changed chefs or someone has been cheating the rating system. We always try new places based on this rating system & will not trust it anymore because of our experience with Lin's. Here is a pic of what they call larb for you Thai food lovers. Oh & for anyone looking for good Thai food or sushi, it's not in this area but pretty yummy, Thai Diner in Duluth.
