Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Georgia

Let me first say, I was late picking up the pizza. But this is a complaint about the warming lamps they use, rather than a cabinet or warm oven... to management... We ordered 3 pizzas but ran late. (less than 45 min) When we picked up the boxes, they felt cold. When I asked about it the cashier said they use a heat lamp. I was surprised that a pizza place trying to be a bit more upscale than Pizza Hut or Papa John's would use cheaper heating sources such as lamps and shelves. Maybe it was because they were stacked 3 pizzas high, the bottom pizza was just room temperature. Even Little Caesar's uses a warming oven.

I know it was my fault that we were late but if I had known that my pizzas weren't tucked safely away in a warm oven I would have had someone else go pick them up, but didn't know I needed to inconvenience someone to get them for me.

When we got them home, they were generous enough with the few toppings that we ordered. Nice surprise there. The sauce is a neutral flavor, but the pizza chef did a great job making our pizzas.

My complaint is to the Owner or the Franchise agents (if the owner has no choice) about using the lamps instead of a warming cabinet.

They may reply that it's to keep things from getting soggy, etc. but in that case they can surround the shelves on 3 sides to hold the heat in a little better, or only stack them 2 deep or something. What a waste of well-made pizzas.

I'm afraid to order again because if I get stuck in traffic or run late for any reason, the pizza will be getting colder by the minute.

We were on time to pick up our two pizzas, two subs, and bread sticks. So, they had about 20 minutes to cook them. They then told us, that one item (pizza) still had not been made, so we would have to wait another 20 minutes??? Our other stuff was sitting under heat lamps and was lukewarm at best when we got it. When I complained, the manager refused to admit to why our order was messed up on August 30, 2014 at 18:08. She grabbed the receipts from the boxes, so we would not have ticket numbers to complain to corporate, and claimed she would refund some money. The refund did not happen to date...not even a pending transaction. We picked up pizza and still had to wait over 40 minutes and got lukewarm pizza. They had plenty of workers, but seemed...

I have been ordering from the places for the last 5 years. Tonight I got the worst services ever. I called because my order was incorrect and when I called for a replacement they sent the wrong pizza and tried to charge me for the replacement. The driver Devi Patel who is also the Manager was very rude and I asked him to get off my property he stated that this was not my property. This could of end a different way. And that I could never order from there again. He do not have to worry about me. I will never order or any of my family or friends will ever order from there again. This guy is just out for the money and not good customer service. Honestly in the last year the quality of this place has...
