Okinawa Adairsville — Restaurant in Georgia

If anyone knows me, know that I love some Okinawa. Most of the time I eat at the one in Cartersville. However, this time I was in Adairsville working today. Before heading back to my office in cartersville is when I decided to stop in and get brown rice and steamed veggies. The rice was terrible. It tasted like it wasn’t cooked. Furthermore, i was picking at the rice to find good spots out of it when I noticed the black little things actually had legs and a full body cooked into the rice. The veggies were disgusting. And to note this is something I normally get when going to Okinawa.

So I called them and told them that they will not get my business anymore. And that they needed to check their food, because she claimed everything was fresh. It wasn’t!!!!

She wasn’t rude and wanted to fix it, but I was already grossed out. I Ended up sick for a few hours with my stomach turned...

Not from adairsville. But For whoever the manager is on duty to roll their eyes and have an annoyed attitude because you’re “just trying to run a business” you had eager customers quickly decline your business. I will say I am sorry. I really didn’t see your sign the was down past where I parked. But, kindness goes a long way. The parking lot was empty I didn’t realize I couldn’t park in the spot I was in. The sign was on the wall down past your establishment. When we had pulled in My daughter actually said “ooooh sushi” and I told my husband we should try it. We were both excited to eat here after the party we went to. You quickly went back inside and I quickly said “we’ll never mind”

My family and I decided to give this place a shot. We relocated to Rome, Ga in November 2017 from Melbourne, Florida where we had the pleasure of a wonderful variety of food. I have traveled all over the US territory and aboard, so I have had the pleasure to try and a ray of food and cultures.

We are very picky about our sushi's quality, quality and freshness. Our experience at other local areas in rome such as Blue Fin and Ru San has not meet our standards. We have gave each place 3 tries to get it right and yet the sushi is not to par.

We have read reviews on each place we desire to try. To get to the point, the sushi was wayyyyyyy better than the other local spots. Flavor, presentation and price...
