Philly Connection — Restaurant in Georgia

Not great but not terrible. The curly fries are excellent though with good flavor and were cooked really well. I ordered the pizza steak sandwich. Steak was a bit try and not as flavorful as I would’ve thought it would be. Didn’t have much for cheese or pizza sauce on it I almost thought there was no sauce. Inside the restaurant is not very clean so I was skeptical of actually trying any food from here. The soda was also very watered down and the staff barely say two words to you so the ordering experience isn’t all that pleasant either.

I would give it one more try if I lived in the area but I’m only passing through so won’t be able to try it again for some time if ever. However, if I did try it again I’d definitely ask for extra sauce and extra cheese if I did another pizza steak, although I shouldn’t have to ask for extra there should be enough on it. This use to be a good place to eat however the past few times it has definitely gone way downhill. the staff is always rude except the lady. They wait till you order and pay to tell you that they're out of stuff for example today they waited till I paid then told me they were out of ice and I couldn't use the fountain drink machine I had to get a can drink then they also told me they were out of curly fries after I had ordered them. my question was why didn't you say that when I ordered why do you wait till I got my food to say oh were out of curly fries why did you wait till I asked for my cup to tell me that you were out of Fountain service also they definitely have changed Meats. they use a Lesser Quality Meat now that is completely Bland. And I have never seen a restaurant so cheap my meal was well over $20 and they were tripping because I asked for more than two packs of steak sauce they told me no matter what size your sandwich was you get one pack that is...

Yummy!!!! 3 yrs later: we visit here pretty often bc it's the only one around.. we were upset when he took the Birch Beer out of the fountain, but we still went.. went about a month ago and when I asked for steak sauce, he gave me one. I asked for a second and he said it'd be $.50. That's like charging for a packet of ketchup.. 😒 went back today, ordered 2 sandwiches, asked for steak sauce and he gave me one again... and he threw it in the bag and walked off.. I didn't even bother asking for another. Got my food home and my sandwich was over cooked and the bread was chewy.. I was very disappointed in this visit bc we love Philly Connection.. & is quite literally the only one around.. I always expect to wait while ordering bc he normally takes one order then makes it before he takes another order. So if you're in a hurry, expect a wait...
