Subway — Restaurant in Georgia

24 min wait at lunch since only two people working. Walked in at 12:26pm and had my food by 12:50. Asked if I could use coupon for a 7.99 foot long combo (chips & drink) BEFORE ordering a number 8 (the boss, aka meatball sub with pepperoni). Upon check out I was told the coupon expired. I said oh well I’ll just pay the normal price. Came to 17.50ish for a meatball footlong, chip, and small drink…. REALLY!! I know that things are tough all over but good grief. Pushing $20 for a 12 inch sub. If the employee’s initial response had been “no”or they checked the coupon expiration before hand, I would have passed on the number 6 meal (the Boss) and gotten a regular footlong meatball.
