Horrible Quality and Designs for Custom Cookies - DO NOT USE THEM

I will never use Sweet as Heaven ever again!

My family has been ordering custom design themed cookies from what was formerly called Whimsy (now Sweet as Heaven) since 2021. We’ve always been completely satisfied with the quality of themed cookies. They looked super professional, looked liked our vision, and the designs were impeccable. Therefore, I decided to use Sweet as Heaven for my baby shower. I specifically had a “Ralph Lauren” theme and was expecting custom cookies that were “Ralph Lauren” inspired. I sent inspiration pictures (see below) with specific requests on the colors, designs, and shapes. However, the cookies I received did not reflect my inspiration pictures at all (see below). I was completely disappointed. They were not “Ralph Lauren” theme at all and did not look professionally done. Most of the cookies were incomplete and the designs were basic piping and screened on images. A 10 year old could have made these. I was very surprised with the quality and believe there might have been a change in management or cookie decorator.

I spent a lot of money for these cookies and was expecting high quality and professional cookies like my previous experience. I reached out to Kendra (the baker/decorator) expressing my concerns and she told me I wasn’t specific in my request and that there was a miscommunication. Kendra also told me I did not give any inspiration pictures and wasn’t explicit enough even though that is false. Nonetheless, she only gave me a partial refund.

Unfortunately, I did not use these cookies for my baby shower and had no dessert to display (since we opted to skip a cake). It was a total waste of money and I am surprised anyone would use these cookies. Moving forward, I will not be using Sweet as Heaven/Kendra for any future orders and I hope others do not use...

I stumbled upon this place during a morning walk. I thought it was so cute and had to add it to my bookmarks.

I finally made my way to this cute shop to see what they had to offer. This spot is in walking distance to my home. However, If you are driving, it is at the rear of the Vinnings Jubilee shopping center. There is ample parking directly in front.

Walking in you are immediately greeted with pink and white everywhere! It's such a girly spot and they have some cute photo ops available. The cookies are in a glass case on display. I came around 4pm on a Wednesday and the shelf's were Leaning towards the empty side. Each option only had one or two cookies available. I opted to try the chocolate chip Oreo cookie! The staff rang me up and upon request provided me with a napkin. I had every intention of trying this the moment I sat down in my car.

The cookie was such a pleasant surprise! Admittedly, my initial perception of the cookie was that it was firmer than I like my cookies to be. However, when you bite into the cookie it is soft. The surprise for me is that this was a chocolate chip cookie with an Oreo baked into it! Yes, a full Oreo. I don't know why I was expecting Oreo bites kind of like the chocolate chips. Let's just say that this was a hit!!

Was aiding in planning a surprise bachelorette party for my future sister-in-law and these cookies not only impressed, but were gone by next morning.

I called a month ahead in case it would get busy, as well as to ask if the cookies could be done with rose gold instead of gold or silver. The woman on the phone helped me through the ordering process, and assured me that even if I picked up the day before that the cookies would be delicious the next day because they were wrapped and heat-sealed.

These cookies are not only well designed and delicious, they are a larger size than I expected—not a complaint! I was expecting the cookies to be store-bought, sugar cookie size. The ring is the smallest of the cookies, and it was slightly larger than store-bought. The heart was larger than the width of my hand, and made me feel like I got value from a custom set of cookies.
