Sigh...Idk if I'm ever going to find a Mexican Resturaunt I like in the Austell, Douglausvile area. This was not what i expected. Ordered carne asada with sour cream. Ended up with bacon tacos, literally a garden salad with avocado on it, and blue cheese. Steak so thin and crispy on the ends reminded me of bacon, way over cooked.The pepper way under cooked almost raw. Regular salad. Rice flavorless, refried beans flavorless. What's worse is when I got there the sour cream (I paid for it but they had 2 other weird sauces i really could have done with out) was not in the bag, no biggy, asked tonight, was given some and realized I was putting it on my taco it was blue cheese. Im so disappointed. I stopped eating to right this. No chips no salsa. It's so weird the reviews talk so highly but I'm really unimpressed. My step mom is from Mexico so I know I'm not being delusional right now. She's the reason I favor carne asada. No real customer service, chief brought my meal to me. Small taqueria, big taste. Everything is standard fare, just executed with care and quality. Weekly lunch or breakfast for my family. however, the real standout are the Birria tacos. We've tried Birria tacos all over Douglasville and Paulding and these are hands down the best. The consume is rich and flavorful, tacos are loaded with shredded Birria and they use high quality cheese. Onions,lime and cilantro come on the side so they aren't not soft or wilted when you get them. A notable mention, even though it's more Tex-Mex is the carne asada burrito, so simple yet sooo dang good. Standard taqueria fare is also good, linqua, barbacao etc...
