If the DMV opened a restaurant, this would be it. Horrible service and very inefficient. Any review you are seeing that states otherwise is from a local regular. If you eat here everyday and know all the other people, I'm sure they treat you like family, but if you're just stopping by to check it out, don't bother. They literally will make you feel like you just spit on them.

I had a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and I asked for the eggs to be scrambled. The eggs were hard fried and chopped up. The bacon was not only cold, but must have been several days old. Why they cannot cook bacon to order when there is no buffet is beyond me. The biscuits looked good, but were far from it. The gravy is your standard mix that you add water to and is very tasteless.

The sever didn't do one check back and never made eye contact or smiled one time. She was, on the other hand, very friendly with the regulars hanging out on the other side of the dining room. Even after all that, I tipped $5 on $17. She pulled her money from the register and spent not another second on me. I stood there waiting to sign my receipt or whatever and she just looked at me. Finally she said "You need a receipt?" I said, "No, do I need to sign anything?" "No.", she said and walked away. No, "have a nice day" or even a "thank you". I just gave you almost a 30% tip for bad food and horrible service!

Let me start by saying that we have been there for lunch. This was our first experience for breakfast. We arrived there at 10:40 which is a little late for breakfast. But nonetheless breakfast was still being served till 11:00. When we walked in we stood by the front door for at least 5 to 10 minutes and I asked a passing waitress if I could sit at a clean table. Sat there for 5 more minutes and then got up to get a menu from hostess stand. There was a waitress cleaning a table right next to us with a menu in her hand I went over to ask her if I could have it and she said I'll bring you menus and continue to clean table. Finally at 3 minutes to 11:00 she walked over handed us menus and told us that we needed to hurry up and order because breakfast ends in 3 minutes. So my husband hurried up and picked out what he wanted and I said that I would have a fish sandwich. She said that she would have to go turn in The Breakfast order and then come back and take my order and give us two separate checks. Which I didn't understand it would have taken 5 Seconds to write down fish sandwich with french fries and coleslaw. Anyways she was extremely rude and acted as if she didn't want to be there if Hospitality isn't her thing then maybe she should find a different field. The food was delicious but the service was not it made us both...

Great people!!!😉⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍🤤😋& they serve chicken & dressing EVERY FRIDAY, one of my very favorite all time meals & it’s been hard to find many places around here that know how to make good, flavorful dressing & they make chicken and dumplings sometimes too (I almost always miss the days they cook them) but I’ve had them twice now & I have the same thing to say about those as the chicken and dressing… AMAZING!!! I’ve not had the opportunity to eat there but about 5-8 x & they’ve been opened many many years but I’ve never been disappointed with anything I’ve eaten there or the good people that work there, so I recommend checking them out if you haven’t already! Oh yea, I’ve also not had the pleasure of having one of their steak dinners but I have very picky steak eaters in my family & the ones that have had them couldn’t have praised them more for putting out a great & correctly grilled cooked to order steak & at an unbelievable affordable price, you can’t buy just a steak in the grocery store for what they charge much less think about putting anything with it! So that’s my next order, whenever I get around to going back… thanks a bunch everyone...
