Willie's Wee-Nee Wagon — Restaurant in Georgia

This place has CHANGED! Their was a time that nobody… nobody could beat Willie’s food…didn’t matter what you ordered…Willie’s delivered. It has been a minute since ordering from Willie’s…so, I called in an order “the pork chop sandwich” and I would pick it up…okay, picked it up, went back to the office and when I say everything was wrong…”Everything was WRONG!” So yesterday I had a doctor’s appointment near Willie’s Winnie Wagon, so I stopped by thinking that my first time just hit on their bad day. This time I ordered a hamburger, the big sign outside said the hamburger came with mustard(?)…it didn’t matter, all I seen was tomato and grilled onions… I ask the clerk to add mayo… she said okay. Well I ate the fries on the way home and was going to save the burger for home, because, I knew it would be to messy for driving and eating. Right? I got home unloaded the usual and grabbed the Willie’s bag…hoping for the most delicious burger ever…,you still with me? I opened the bag to find 1 hamburger cooked to parchment and a bun!!! Nothing else… I was so very disappointed, not only that, but heartbroken. Yes, I said heartbroken. Such an iconic place as Willie’s Winnie Wagon had sooo changed, for the very worst. I remember when you had to park on the street and walk to place an order at Willie’s Winnie, so excited when you finally had the order in you hands… you could feel the warmth through the bag…Willie YOU ARE MISSED! Whoever has taken over this iconic place that everybody in Glynn County and her surroundings counties know as Willie’s Winnie Wagon…please check yourself. ...

May 13, 2023 at 7:06. My friends and I we craving willies. I call to place an order. I told the young lady that I have three orders. She told me I can only take two. I said welp I guess I will just call you back to place the third one. She hung up on me as I try to place an order being rude. So my other friend called place his order, my other friend place his order online, and my wife called back to place a single order. My wife is trying to place our order in the mid order she said “ oh I can’t hear you “and hangs up again. At this point I am up set. My wife attempts to order online but it didn’t go through. So we decided to go place our order in person since my two friends were able to place their order. We go down there, as we approach the lady that takes orders. She states that the grill is closed we are turning them off and you can only get hotdogs. The time was at 7:20. At this point I refuse to order anything because they were not trying to work at this point. I’m not sure what crew worked this Saturday afternoon but the owner should talk to them because this type of service will ruin a business and people like me that has eaten there my whole life will not recommend them anymore to anyone until these issues have been resolved. I have been there 4 or 5 times and they have lost my order. I would be sitting there for 45 minutes wondering when my food would be ready. I would ask and they would laugh like ohhh were sorry your order...

As much as I hate to be one of "those" people, it can't be helped. We are new to the area and passed this little joint and thought we'd try it out because we like the mom and pop restaurants. Our order consisted of 2 dogs (1 slaw & 1 chili), 2 burgers, 2 fries and drinks. My first point of discontent is with the price, just under $30, which seems a tad bit high for what you get here. The fries were good, nothing special. The hot dog was an average hot dog you buy from any stand with the canned chili taste but theirs have beans in it. I'm a no beans in my hot dog chili kinda guy but some folks might be into it. The burgers are served on a hogie roll, not hamburger buns. This makes a very odd situation where you have a round patty in the middle of an oblong roll so on either end there's basically a tomato sandwich. This could be remedied by using 2 patties or cutting a larger patty in half so theres meat filling the entire bun, but I'd suggest just using hamburger buns. Also, they are very messy. I don't use that term negatively because some of the best food i have ever eaten is messy, but I'm just putting that out there FYI. I'm sure this place is a very popular community staple and I'm glad to see a local business flourishing but it's just not for me. I would suggest that if you haven't tried Willie's Weenee Wagon, you should definitely give it a shot because it...
