I’ve had this place on my list for a long time and really wanted to enjoy it. Unfortunately, both times I’ve gone have left me feeling like an afterthought.
Today, I stopped by specifically to try their beer. A few options weren’t available on tap, which was totally understandable since it's challenging to brew in the Arizona summer heat. So I ordered a flight of a few options they did have on tap and some food. The food was just okay, but the main reason I came was to finally try their brews. Unfortunately, the flight never arrived. I waited throughout my meal, hoping it would show up, and by the time I finished eating (after about 20 to 30 minutes) I still didn’t have anything to drink.
When I went up to ask about it, the cashier was kind and apologized, offering to still bring out the beer or make me something else, which I appreciated. But by then, the moment had passed -- I was done with my food and just ready to go.
Sadly it's not the first time I’ve had a disappointing experience here either. A few years ago, I tried to come in for dinner and was turned away because the kitchen had closed early, well before the posted hours.
I understand that things happen, and I’m usually pretty patient when places are short-staffed or overwhelmed. But after two visits, it just feels like this place doesn’t value its guests for some reason. It's disappointing, as it always hoped this place had potential to become a new regular spot for food, coffee, and drinks. But after going 2 for 2 in bad experiences, it's hard to justify...
Read moreUpdated: Appreciate the response, had to downgrade to 2 stars, $9 for an 8 oz beer is outrageous! I can buy a 6 pack at Total Wine of 8%+ for that price and quality, and that's 60 oz... It's been my experience that when an establishment doesn't list their Happy Hour Menu or list their beer prices it's because they overcharge. Four Silos is no exception. I'd assume Happy Hour is probably 3-5pm with a dollar off beers, makes the beers only double what they should be. I hope to be wrong, but high prices usually means unusual quality or experience, this isn't either.
Original 3*: Went for an early dinner. Paninis were good, reasonable price for a sandwich, staff was friendly. Not set up for family dining unless your family consists of 2 and the tables wobble which shouldn't happen for a new establishment. Tried the Double IPA, was good but the price of beer is way too high. Unfortunately I am simply not in the market for a $9, 12 oz beer and don't show up to breweries unless I want a beer. Would prefer to help my neighborhood business but won't overpay to do so. Was looking forward to stopping for some good beers with a few friends after a long commute, but sorry guys, maybe I'll try...

Visited with hubby around 1pm on a Sunday, place was lively but not too crowded. As you come in the doors, you are invited with pop music and calm vibes. They have two tvs that were playing the soccer game. We went to the counter and grabbed a few menus and sat down, orders are taken up at the counter. I ordered an Arnold Palmer and hubby got the Red Velvet Latte, we also ordered the Breakfast pizza and a cinnamon roll.
Drinks arrived promptly and food shortly after.
My Arnold Palmer was delish! The tropical black tea was flavorful even on its own and the lemonade was was a nice balance between acidic and sweet.
Hubby really liked his Red Velvet Latte to!
Breakfast pizza crust was thin and crunchy. Overall I was not that impressed, it is likely that the pizzas are frozen as a cheese pizza any they just cut up sausage, egg and some bacon and toss it on top and then run it through the air fryer.
The cinnamon roll was also just okay- it was obviously microwaved and the bread was dry and crumbly but it had a nice taste.
Overall this best little spot was amazing for drinks but I’d probably just get...
