Decided to try a new resturant and this one happened to be opened on a holiday (labor day) so i went in and had a seat. a gentlemen who wasn't part of staffing brought me a menu. i then met my waitress Melissa W. from there i mindly informed her this is my first time here, and couldnt decide what i wanted. once my order was placed i got their Big Bret breakfast. (largest breakfast meal on menu) [ DOES NOT OFFER RAISIN TOAST] i then subbed my ham slice for bacon. once my meal was delivered, the waitress then checks in "how is your food?" um good as im a strip of bacon total into this order. then as im impressed with their maple sausage links, and hint of butter flavored hashbrowns, quickly my thirsty self ran out of my beverage. it then sat for the rest of the time. the waitress had 3 tables, i was the first one, i then pushed glass to end of table expecting it might catch her eye, nope, she socializing with i hope another employee in his booth. cool! so i sat and waited cause now im done done, no water, need a box for massive pancakes that dont fit my plate (super plus) and a receipt so i can pay and leave as i need to go buy fluids elsewhere.

i might of just had a bad experience, and wrote a biography, but if im buying the most expensive meal, you would think im gonna be a great tipper if kept up on my glass, and brings my receipt before i have to ask, or am to the point of not enjoying...

We stopped in on Mother's Day for an early dinner. It's a cute small town diner. It was clean and had a good variety for the menu. Their yelp page said they were open until 8 but they really closed at 4. We arrived about 3:15 and did our best to order quickly so we wouldn't hold them up from getting out on time. They had a rush behind us too. Our whole table ordered salads. By the time they got to mine, I think they were running out of stuff because mine was about 1/3 less than everyone else at the table. Nonetheless, the chicken bacon ranch salad was delicious. The chicken was moist and the bacon was crispy. My husband got the Mac Daddy salad and he said it was good too. It came out fresh and the burger was still piping hot. The owner stopped by our table and chatted a bit in between cleaning up and tearing down the salad bar (which also looked good). Thanks to the kitchens timely service we were able to wrap up our meal just as they closed. We would...

Can’t believe I’ve been living in Gladwin going on 2 years and never discovered this place. My wife actually found this place today after we picked my son up from school. Boy, I’m glad she did. I like burgers with egg so as I was driving she was telling me “they have an egg burger” I told her I’d take it. I didn’t know I was having an English breakfast sandwich 😂😂😂. But she knew I would love it and that’s why she ordered it for me. My son got popcorn shrimp and he said it’s excellent as well. I could tell by the smell of it when I was driving that it was going to be super tasty. Also whoever made that put some love into it and I really appreciate that. I can always tell when love goes into the food. We will be back and also good service. It’s always appreciated! Update, the deep fried PP& J is sooooo good! This place keeps getting...

The family & I stopped here on our way home for an early dinner and omg we're glad we did! The Jalapeño Jam burger, barley soup & reuben were all spectacular! Tons of flavor, great portions, quality ingredients & reasonable prices. Our server was happy, friendly, attentive & the owner actually stopped by our booth to get to know us. It was just an all around great experience and I highly recommend stopping in if you're around. P.S.- If you like pies you gotta give theirs a try!
