China Garden — Restaurant in Glandorf Township

Asked for chicken fried rice. Had called ahead to be sure that they could do it with white rice since I can't eat saffron, MSG, nor soy sauce. They sent back with my brother noodles and chicken over white rice. I called told they can't do chicken fried rice with white rice AFTER I HAD CALLED TO VERIFY THAT THEY COULD before I sent my brother to order this. NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN... DO IT AS YOU SAID, DON'T LIE TO THE CUSTOMER! Se the photo of WHAT I DIDN'T ORDER! And I ordered 2! I also can't hang Garlic, which my brother advised, and the noodle dish on top of the rice had garlic in it. The next day my blood pressure was elevatec, and I was having PVC arrhythmias! I have submitted this to the BBB for a full refund, since every time I can the business number I get a "fax like sound" and no answer" Knew I shouldn't have eaten even a little bit of what they placed over that white rice. I’m not from this area, but I stopped in while I was here for work. The food is strictly okay. I asked for general tso chicken with extra broccoli and Lo mein noodle instead of the steamed rice. This chicken was tasty however it was not general tso sauce, it was a brown gravy. There was no spice or sweetness to it, but was fairly bland in flavor and a bit greasy. The broccoli was fresh and slightly crunchy, which I like. The noodles were not Lo mein noodles, but angel hair pasta. This was a bit upsetting for me because there is a difference in flavor with the Lo mein noodles, and I paid an up charge for this modification. My favorite Chinese restaurant in the world! Not only is the food the best ever, the prices are fantastic too but, we love the owners! When I call to place an order they know who I am and what I want before I order down to the last detail! If we haven’t ordered in awhile we’re asked if everyone is ok and when are coming inside to eat again because we’ve been missed! Now I get it, yes it’s about profit, but it’s also nice to be remembered and to be made to feel like your cared about!
