Well. I live around the corner and have always been excited about this place. My schedule was never condusive with ordering. So finally I have the opportunity to order something. My family and I got the family platter (with pork ribs) and I ordered a BBQ chicken sandwich. The sides we ordered were fries, yams, and greens.

The BBQ chicken sandwich wasn't that. It was a leg quarter and given 2 pieces of bread in a baggie. While my children liked the ribs (they are 4 and 2) my wife didn't like the ribs. The greens taste like water and the yams weren't good either (why do you put apple slices in them?).

All and all I don't think I'll be ordering from this place again unless...

I just got my food and it is the worse! My whole family ordered. I got the fried chicken wing platter with Mac and cheese and collard greens. The chicken wings were okay but the collard greens were nasty and the Mac and cheese taste like noodles with no cheese. My sister got the turkey Wings they were okay but again the Mac was nasty and so was the broccoli. This food is completely over priced and not good. POPPIN' Non- STOPPIN!!! I met one of the chef's at an event a couple weeks ago. I asked him about the breakfast menu. Because, breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Needless to say, I came two weeks later in the a.m., and ordered a Fish and Grits platter. I was thoroughly pleased! The fish was sooo tasty and the Grits were perfect!!
