Lottie's Country Kitchen — Restaurant in Glastonbury

Lottie’s is in my hometown. Although I live halfway down the East Coast, every time I come home, I make it a point to stop in. The staff is welcoming, and they always feel familiar. The place is decorated cute, and the wait is never too long. There are hometown bunch who work hard to please their community. When I go back, I try to choose something new from the menu. Absolutely love this place!! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. When I say they have the best bacon I've ever had, it's TRUTH! I'm drooling now just thinking about tomorrow's breakfast. The waitress's are wonderful and always courteous with coffee or whatever you may need. The cook is a nice guy who always has a smile for you. Just stumbled upon this restaurant about 15 minutes before closing. The waitress who I later realized was the owner was very friendly and accommodating. My wife saw a shaved steak, cheese, peppers, and onion sandwich and asked if she could have it with turkey instead of steak even though it wasn't on the menu. They made it her way and said it looked so good they were going to offer it as a special named after my wife Dorothy's special. Would definately return. BTW, we're visiting...
