Visited Globe for the first time ever on a trip this past weekend went to the Drift Inn Saloon my friends and I walked right in didn’t even order anything because I realized I forgot my ID at the hotel and this big sight for sore eyes nosed man came up to us asking to see ID I stated I forgot my ID and he stated he couldn’t have us inside without ID obviously he said it pretty aggressively and we gave no pushback walked out and even another customer stated that he was going to chase away business. We came back with my ID readily to provide and same guy waited outside and told us the bartender said no for us to enter at all and as we were still within ear shot distance begins to lie and claim we snuck in while he was in the bathroom which was absolutely not the case at all we walked in and as soon as he asked for the ID we left no issues at all. I would not recommend this bar to anyone especially with a greasy big nosed ugly troll greeting you with an attitude and then kicking you out based on a pure lie. Worst bar...

I was stationed at Luke AFB in 1983. A man named Tom invited us to the Drift Inn. We came and ended up staying with Tom and his wife the whole weekend. Shooting guns in the desert, bar hopping around the area and ending the nights at the Drift Inn. We went back to Tom's and the Drift Inn several times over the months while stationed at Luke. It was great times for us young bucks who were living in barracks on base. Tom and his wife offered us great long weekend escapes from the base and the big city of Phoenix. If anyone reads this and knows Tom and his wife, the former owners of the Drift Inn. Tell them thanks for the memories! I sent the post cards from Germany, but lost...

Kind of place that when you open the door all the light pours in and you start to second guess yourself about going in. But as you enter you just get to see all of the character come to life. I mean yeah its a dive bar but a western dive bar. The bartender was awesome and got to celebrate a locals birthday. From the classic nude paintings on the wall to the wooden bar that just doesn't stop. My only regret is that it wasn't a Friday or Saturday night. Got the hamburger and frys and it was on point. Food is good and beer is cold, what else can I say. I hit the Palace Saloon in Prescott and I would pick the Drift Inn over it in regards to...

Very cool bar. It's one of Arizona's original bars. Out of the 8, we have been to 5 of the famous bars and more not listed. The Palace, The Spirit room, Big Nose Kate's, The Clinkscale, The Asylum, The Haunted hamburger, The Sprit room, the bird cage, Crystal Palace. We need to hit up Williams next. Bisbee is our favorite mining town. There is so much to explore in Globe. There are a lot of haunted places, and this bar is one of them. The staff were amazing, and I will be back to try the food and have another drink in the future.

We get up here every year, as they are the lunch stop for the East Valley Firefighters Poker Run during bikeWeek. This year, we stayed for lunch. We ordered their burgers, and they girls had their world famous Bloddy Mary's. The Bloddy Marys are always a hit ( although I'm driving and won't drink) and go good with lunch. The burgers and fries were great, I recommend you try one. All in all, it's a great place to stop and wet your whistle and grab a bite! See you next year!
