Extremely pleased!!! Will be recommending Assados to all of my friends and family!

My niece recently got married and we had the rehearsal dinner at Assados. It exceeded our expectations, everything was amazing but there is one main reason I decided to write a review…

Our server at Assados was one of a kind and she deserves all the credit in the world. Not only was she efficient, professional, knowledgeable but she had such a great personality and she made our evening not just a night out but an experience! She anticipated all of our needs, our glasses were never empty, she made sure we had napkins, condiments, etc. before having to ask, dishes were always cleared. She took some time and gave us recommendations for dinner. Everything she recommended was outstanding! She even boxed and bagged our left overs !!! If I'm not mistaken she had 4 other big tables at the same time yet she was able to make us feel like we were her only table. Might I mention, there were 20 of us !!!! She still made time to stop by the table and crack a few jokes with my husband and make sure everyone had everything they needed . Her attention to detail is impeccable. If she was ever flustered or overwhelmed we couldn't tell! Unbelievable !! I even remember telling her how amazing she was and asking her how do you do it ? "You're just as cool as a cucumber.. even with all of this going on !" She just made our night and I want everyone to know that including her. It is not often you go out to eat and get service like my family and I received at Assados. Someone that genuinely cares. Thank you so much Nicole ! We appreciate all of your hard work and want you to know you are an incredible server and we will be back...

For something heartier, the mixed grill for two is a feast that showcases their strength in Portuguese-inspired meats. Even the simple details — like the warm pita chips with hummus or the charcuterie board — show care and execution.

Cocktails are thoughtful and refreshing, with options like the Lisbon Negroni or Smoked Fig Old Fashioned offering unique spins. Pair that with their upbeat yet cozy environment, and you’ve got a perfect night out whether it’s dinner with family, date night, or drinks with friends.

So this place has been packed nearly every time we have gone by, we tried to get dinner last month but with the wait being over 1.5hrs we passed, but had it on the list as a must try.

We were able to stop in this past weekend for a quick bite shortly after they opened Saturday. Shortly after they started to fill up!

We were impressed by the changes they made inside, the separate dining areas, and the bar location work well, sitting at the bar has a separate feel than the dining areas, which I'm sure folks with kids or wanting a quiet meal appreciate.

We sat at the bar and the two bartenders were attentive, and very friendly. I had a Super Bock, and my wife had one of their signature cocktail which she enjoyed. We had the Portuguese mussel's which were very good, with a nice flavorful broth and a couple of toast points. We also had the stuffies, and while they had good flavor they lacked a lot in the seafood department. Each had one scallop, and not much else that I could tell, had there been I would have given them 4 stars.

We saw some other dishes coming out that looked great, so we will definitely go back to explore the menu a bit more, and hopefully I can bump this rating up! If not as I said the bartenders were great, and would make it worth a stop...
