We had a pretty good first visit here. We arrived on a fairly busy Sunday morning, but we were still seated right away. Coffee was served right away and the young man who does the fill-ups for the coffee is so polite and did amazing keeping up with a full restaurant! The wait was a little long, which was to be expected with a full establishment. We enjoyed the TV programs selected during our visit. I was not over-the-moon about the food but it was good. I understand they are super busy back there so some things were rushed and we had to wait for just a couple more side orders that had not finished yet. So we basically ate our main food, but had to wait for some sides to come out separately. Which again, was overall fine and we had plenty of food to start with.

Another thing I want to mention because I read it somewhere here someone was complaining about prices. I will say HANDS DOWN everything we bought was WORTH what we paid. Anyone to be complaining about the rise in costs have no idea how hard it is to get products into restaurants. It's a miracle for many restaurants if the driver even shows up! So please, anyone looking to visit ANY restaurant, PLEASE BE KIND and understand that yes, the cost of things is going up with no end in sight. So buckle up.

One last thing: We WILL be back! We will try to pick a less...

I ordered a side of eggs with an order of Sausage gravy and biscuits and this came w/a side of potatoes. Coffee was good. The biscuits and gravy were barely warm. (I was very disappointed as they were only two other tables of people.) There were four of us at our table and on each plate was a small triangle of cantaloupe, pineapple or a strawberry. This was a very nice touch. Our breakfast came out in two different times. There were about 5 mins apart, which is not a long time, but when you see a restaurant that is not busy; I don't really understand this. One of my kids ordered a English muffin with bacon egg and cheese and she said it was very good ! My side of eggs (two scrambled) tasted fine, however they were barely warm. The waitress was very nice too !!! However, $45.00 for breakfast and you get served barely warmed food? Not good. I do realize i could have complained and had my food brought back, but to what end ? If you're not busy, why is food lukewarm? Update for 2ND visit * I changed to 5 stars; place was packed and food came really quick, really fresh and very hot!!! Very pleased, offers of "coffee and tea/drinks and how is everything ?" many times over !!! Very nice . All in all the visit was spot on !!!...

Used to LOVE this place prior to Covid. Breakfast here was almost a daily ritual for awhile when I was doing keto. Food was great, servers were wonderful. Prices reasonable. Five stars then. Just returned, looking forward to another great experience. Again, food & server were awesome. Then I got the bill. Two poached eggs, side of bacon, side of hollandaise (eggs benedict w/o the English muffin) & iced tea came to $15.24! Pre-tip! So about 17.50 total. I asked for a manager, thinking there must be some error on the check. She was nice & verified the total. Said prices had gone up due to Covid.

I thanked her for checking & politely said the price was steep but paid & got ready to leave. A younger server? Assistant manager? came over and asked if there was a problem with the food. Told her it was wonderful but price was very high (compared to same meal at nearby establishments). Without saying a word she shrugged her shoulders, turned her back to me & walked away.

A real letdown when I'd SO looked forward to hitting my old favorite breakfast place again. Five stars for food & service (other than the aforementioned younger person). One star for the greatly increased prices :( = 3 stars.

Loyal customers have been hit hard by...

I had the Hot Seat Omelette (roast beef hash, peppers, cheese, topped with a creamy jalapeno sauce) and a cup of hot coffee. The portions were generous and the food was hot and delicious. Service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable with nice views of Main Street in the beautiful Goffstown village. The highlight for this visit was the food. I love the rustic and homemade-style roast beef hash and home fries. Both are hearty and delicious.
