Phenomenal!!! We just happened upon this place as we were in the area and hungry. Everything we ate was delicious. We satay and calamari for appetizers, and they were both amazing. The calamari was light, crispy, flavorful, and served with a pleasant plum sauce. The satay was perfect, as the chicken was spiced and grilled perfectly. The cucumber and peanut sauces it came with complimented it exceptionally well. In addition to sharing the appetizers, we got the papaya salad and pineapple fried rice with shrimp to share. Both of those items were excellent, and to top it off, the pineapple fried rice is served in a real pineapple half! The food was excellent enough to keep us coming back, but the staff was awesome as well. They were very kind, helpful, and fun. This place is definitely worth driving to, no matter where you are. The prices are reasonable for how great it tastes. Soda drinks are free refills, which is a bonus, as ordering by the can means I usually end up drinking water. We could tell this place was going to be good, by how packed it was. They do take reservations, which I highly recommend if you would be going during a lunch or dinner rush. We're so excited to have found this place and will definitely be going back! FYI: If you do order the pineapple fried rice, you can take the pineapple half home. They offered a plastic bag to put it in as well.

Nong's Thai Cuisine is an absolute gem tucked away in a small shopping mall, and it's a real treat to discover. The parking situation is more than adequate for this type of venue, making it convenient right from the get-go. The recent remodeling has transformed the restaurant into a clean and contemporary space, with plenty of room to move around comfortably. During our lunch visit, we noticed that while the service wasn't lightning-fast, the speed at which our food was delivered to our table was impressive. The menu is a comprehensive journey through Thai cuisine, covering every combination you can imagine, all presented in a straightforward and uncomplicated manner. It's evident that Nong's is dedicated to serving up some of the finest Thai food in the area. The presentation of the dishes is traditional, which adds to the authentic experience. What's even better is that the prices are incredibly reasonable, with an average cost of about $15 per person for lunch. And don't worry about portion sizes – they are generous! Nong's Thai Cuisine is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Thai food in a clean and inviting atmosphere. The combination of great taste, ample portions, and wallet-friendly prices makes this place a standout. We can't wait to return for another satisfying meal

[Updated] I called to reserve a table but they said they don't accept reservations, it was first come first serve. But when we arrived and waited for more than 30 minutes, there were still customers who said they had reserved a table in advance and were led in before us. This time I tried other dishes. They were okay but still not as delicious as I expected and not my taste. The only dish that is delicious is red curry. ------------------------------------------ The restaurant was not crowded when we went for dinner. We had the Tom Kha Soup with Chicken and the Pad See Yew with Beef. The Tom Kha Soup wasn't what I expected. I can only smell coconut milk and not lemongrass, lime leaves, or galangal even though they were in the soup. When I eat it, the only thing I can taste is sour. I can't taste the flavor of coconut milk, nor the spicy or the sweet to reconcile the sour taste even a little. The Pad See Yew is okay. It wasn't too salty. Next time, I will try different dishes to see if they are better.

I work near the area and my family came to meet me for lunch. We were excited to try a Thai restaurant on this end of town. When we went in we were greeted right away which was nice. The server was very friendly and seated us in a booth and gave us menus. My 2 year old daughter was with us as well and she asked us of we would like a high chair. That was very nice. We didn't have to wait long until someone came to take our order. We told the server our order: thai noodle soup, pad see ew with tofu and lastly fried wontons. First dish thay came out was fried tofu. Something we did not order. We flagged down the server who seated us and I told her we did not order fried tofu. She said she'll go check with the other server and left it on the table. She came back out and asked me what I ordered. I said fried wontons. She tries to make a point that the other server must have heard me say fried tofu. Okay, I get that but I simply read it like how it is written on the menu...fried wontons. She seemed very annoyed because I happened to say fried wontons and not cream cheese wontons. And it's the server's job to repeat the order back to the customer. (I've waitressed in restaurants before and this is a must) I understand that mistakes happen it's no big deal but after that service went downhill. No one came to refill our waters and no one stop to ask to see how our food was. It wasn't even busy. Now, I grew up in St. Paul where there is a plethora of Thai, Lao, Cambodian and Chinese restaurants so I know what authentic Thai food tastes like. My pad see ew did not taste like pad see ew at all. Huge disappointment. It tasted like chow fun. My husband (huge thai noodle soup lover) had thai noodle soup which was also a big let down. The broth had a hint of curry. The only positive takeaway from this experience was that my daughter loved the (as tiny as they were) wontons. That's the only reason for my 2 star rating. I agree with another reviewer that if you have not had much Thai cusine before you probably will like the food and give it a generous star rating. We still left a generous tip but will not be bringing our business here again due to the...

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM THIS PLACE. THEY ARE ALWAYS SUPER LATE! Happened AGAIN and AGAIN! I ordered online, arrive at my scheduled pick up time (actually 15 minutes past my pick up time) to be told it’s not ready yet. Then lied to as they said it will be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived 30 minutes later and found out they haven’t even started. I like the food here, but this will unfortunately be my last time ordering or recommending this place to anyone. Especially if you have kids expecting to eat dinner or lunch at scheduled times. No body can have a whole family waiting 2hrs after the scheduled time to eat.

Added after reading ‘owners’ comment/response to my post above.

I did not cancel, I said I was thinking about it since it was already delayed/not started and it will take 20 minutes. I never cancelled my order/nor did I receive confirmation that my order was cancelled at the time you quoted. It was only cancelled when I deliberately came back and spoke to the manager who then refunded the $70 order.

The other orders were under my wife’s name (Andrea B) and you will see the multiple orders we placed here were LATE.

I’m just trying to give you guys honest feedback to improve your business. Sounds like you don’t appreciate my service or care less if I ever come back there again ‘speaks volumes’ about how you truly care about your customers and your response just reaffirms my decision to not recommend this place. Sad. I really liked it here, however there are other Thai food places near by that has better customer service and will earn my friends and...

Four friends and I ate here for a Sunday lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed both the food and dining experience and look forward to returning!

There were a few other groups of diners but it was otherwise pretty quiet. Our server and the other staff were very attentive and provided exceptional service. As a vegetarian, I was very grateful that their menu clearly stated which entrees contained fish sauce and if the item could be prepared as vegetarian. They had an extensive menu and most of the menu was vegetarian or vegan friendly. The restaurant was very clean and orderly.

We ordered three appetizers: curry puffs, cream cheese puffs, and vegetarian spring rolls. The first two were very good. I feel that the vegetarian spring rolls were underwhelming. Mostly lettuce in a rice paper wrapper. I've had far better vegetarian spring rolls at other restaurants that included carrot, bean sprouts, mock duck or tofu, etc. This was my only complaint about the entire meal.

Our group got the squash curry with tofu, masaman curry with mock duck, pineapple curry with chicken, seafood pad Thai, and prik khing curry with tofu. Everyone was very pleased with their food and the spice levels were perfect for our group (which includes spicy food lovers). If you're sensitive to spicy food, I don't recommend that you order anything hotter than medium. One of my friends is from Singapore and has traveled extensively, and he said the pad Thai was some of the best he's had in the twin cities.

I highly recommend...
