Gee's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Goldendale

I went in with a friend from out of town, and we sat at a dirty table for about 15 minutes before someone acknowledged our existence. We would have sat somewhere else in the nearly empty restaurant, but all of the other tables were worse than this one. Little did we know at the time, this was as good as it was going to get. When the morose, joyless waitress finally graced us with her presence, her attitude made it clear that she would rather be getting a root canal than serving us. She set down wet, dirty silverware that still had bits of food clinging to it, did not greet us at all, and merely stood there with her paper and pen until the uncomfortable silence had to be broken, giving us menacing looks the entire time. We ordered a simple meal. I ordered something deep fried to kill the bacteria that was likely on their food, and about 45 minutes after we ordered, we finally got to eat. I was not hungry when we got there, and had even less of an appetite after I began to get the Full Gee's Family Restaurant Experience. My friend ordered egg flower soup, which was a thin, clear broth with a hint of something that may once have been a vegetable but we could not be sure without an electron microscope. We both managed to somehow survive this harrowing experience without getting dysentery, but I will not be pushing my luck...

Man I been goin there off & on & evertime I tell myself I not goin there 2 eat but this time, said it all 4 me its like a hassle everytime... my food is always cold & not cook right that place is not good & I'm will not go there 2 eat again staff is great but the cooks r not, most of them don't kno wht there doin the food is always under cook or cold when I go I take my whole family my bill is never under $150 it seems 2 me that no matter wht I said it's always poor service, food wise any where else, i take my family 2 or go they always discount ur food & cover all ur drinks or wht ever it takes 2 make it better , if they mess up ur order or something... but @ this place the owner there has rise there prices & can't give u wht u pay 4...not a happy camper I highly recommend that u check ur food b4 u eat it & u will see wht...

I visited Goldendale earlier this month and was hungry for Chinese food. My best friend who lives part time here, said this was the only Chinese restaurant. The food was good, just different from the Chinese restaurants where I live. The portions were generous, served fast and hot. If you want to drink alcohol it's a byob kine place, which was fine for us! The owner of Gee's waited on us and really treated us well! He gave me extra rice for free, laughing as he was surprised I have a Chinese last name, blonde hair and requesting more sticky white rice! Visit Gee's and enjoy! Sorry no pics,...
