Lizzie's Grill-N-Chill — Restaurant in Goldston

This is a small town hole in the wall restaurant, it has great potential the staff could do a little bit better on their customer service. Like when bringing us the check they placed checks in multiple places at the table and we didn't even know the one was there so we went up and paid and then had to go backup and pay again and that seems silly. The philly cheese steak was good and the in house chips were also delicious, we all liked the cheese sticks. I would avoid the corn fritters cause they sucked. We tried the fish special tonight, 2 pieces of Alaskan White Fish with 2 sides. He tried fried okra and onion rings. All was fried crispy and delicious. I had homemade chicken salad sandwich with homemade potatoe salad as my side. The chicken salad was delicious! Service was very good, they kept our glasses filled with our drinks. We tried the pasta salad which had ranch dressing on the pasta. A new taste for us, that we really enjoyed so we bought a pint for $5...

What an enjoyable experience! Staff are very friendly and happy. Lots of joking with customers. Even though it was our first visit, we were treated like regulars. I had the BBQ with red sauce, fries and slaw. BBQ was very tasty and plentyful. Fresh cut fries were hot and crispy on the outside, soft Inside. They have hand dipped ice cream, but we had no room.
