MOMO Crowfield — Restaurant in Goose Creek

Our first time here , looking forward to have a nice restaurant in Goose Creek.. hate to leave town unless I want fast food ! We E had the hush puppies to start , a little dense and undercooked in the middle, but excellent flavor. I had the pasta “Pepe” and it was excellent!, added the shrimp for an $8 up charge, thought it was a little steep until I saw how many large shrimp they added , about 8 . The pasta sauce was spicy but great , My wife had the Turkey sandwich and fries .. excellent and abundant! I wish they had a small house salad as a side , both salads available looked great but for $14 and large , We split the blueberry salad and it was great.. We finished with the apple turnover pie and it was delicious.. crust was light and flaky.. great finish . We will definitely be back , but at these prices , maybe not as frequent… but don’t get me wrong, this quality is not overpriced..but the people of GC are very frugal,...

3rd time coming here, 4th time eating the food. (Takeout the first time) Food is always great, service is trash. First experience was great. No complaints. Second experience we sat outside on patio after being seated by hostess for almost 20 minutes without being served or greeted, moved inside as it started to rain and asked the hostess to be sat inside and informed her we had not been served by anyone. Sat inside for another 20 minutes before being greeted. Gave our drink, appetizer and entree order immediately. Received our appetizers before our drinks. I believe we were at the restaurant for over an hour before receiving our first round of drinks. This was on a Friday night and the place was relatively empty. Not sure if they are understaffed or what. Third experience was subpar, again. Great food, but...

I’ve been to Riverfront location many times, and even this one in Crowfield and have always had positive experiences with the food and staff.

Moving forward, if the restaurant is to be closed on a Friday for a private event, perhaps share online via the website and/or social media. We rolled up as a family only for the servers (who were pleasant at least) to look at us very confused and tell us there was no dinner service. It was a gut punch considering we took a family bike ride including our 8 year old son who was very much looking forward to a shirley temple...
