My visit started out in the drive thru, I sat in the drive thru line, which moved 2 cars the whole time in was in it, for 15 minutes. I decided to park and go inside as it appeared to be less busy inside. There were 3 customers in front of me, again I waited about 15 minutes before being waited on. During which time, I saw the floor had trash all over it and the donut display case was completely trashed looking terrible with the paper liners hanging and crumpled on almost every shelf. I overhear it’s National Coffee Day and they are out of pumpkin syrup and medium hot cups. The lady working the front counter is unfriendly and slow. The manager I assume, the only man, is shaking his head and slowly assisting sandwiches and drive thru coffee at a leisurely pace with no apologies for the wait. The order taker apologizes to every customer for the wait, takes the order and says “k come up” in a less than inviting tone. She up-sells the National Coffee Day once he customers are at the window ready to pay for drinks already ordered which increases the drive thru wait time. She tells the customer that they are out of medium hot cups, so it’s gonna be large, but has to explain it again because the customer is made to feel like they aren’t getting what they ordered and are going to have to pay extra. People in line behind me walked out due to the wait. People ahead of me were complaining amongst themselves of the wait, especially since there was only three people ahead of me when I walked in and still took another 15 minutes before it was my turn. She told customers she’d be with them in a moment while grinding beans twice and starting a fresh pot while a full one was placed up top, as well as to grab more hot lids because she can’t multitask apparently. When she finished with her tasks or making someone’s coffees she would set them down on the counter and stare right at the next person and say loudly, “can l help who’s next??” Like there is nobody there, so again, very rude and unfriendly, she takes the order with an attitude that she’s being overworked. Tells the customer ahead of me that she can’t wait to leave if she makes it uses the excuse of it’s National Coffee Day. I have worked in a busier store than this on National Coffee Day, why isn’t there two registers open and why is only one person taking orders and making coffees for then drive thru? This product lace is extremely poorly managed it’s clear.
Also, the advertise apple cider donuts, but NEVER have any any time I come in. This is poor ordering at best, just like not having enough medium hot cups or pumpkin syrup for National Coffee Day in the fall stocked up ahead of time.
I’d like to say this is a one time occurrence and maybe chock it up to being a busy day for coffee, but what’s the excuse for the rest of the days of...
Read moreI have never had a bad experience here. Today was no exception. I went to the Dunkin donuts in South Portland by the mall and asked for a white chocolate hot latte and was given the most bitter regular latte by the most monotone and rude drive through woman I think in existence. Well, I couldn't bring myself to drink it so I decided to spend another $5ish dollars on another latte in the Gorham location as I needed to cram school work and just wanted a boost. I explained to the drive through woman ( Amazing woman who grabbed her supervisor without me even asking) about this and the supervisor took my old drink ( Still hot) and replaced it free of charge! They apologized for South Portlands service and made me feel so much better! This kind of customer service is what sets some chains apart from others. This was probably just a service the company itself offers but I LOVED how they took the time to make it right and make me feel...
Read moreKid at drive thru window half listened to our orders, then told us they were out of 3 things we ordered, then asked us to repeat the entire order. Got to pick up window and the poor girl there was trying to fix his mistakes, he literally put in ONE part of our 5 person order correctly. Sat for almost 10 minutes waiting for them to straighten it all out, only to leave and realize my husbands order wasn’t even in the bag despite me repeating our order 6 times. My 12 year old when I left said “Did that guy even...
