I had to edit my review after our last visit. We've made it a tradition to stop here everytime were in Florida! This visit seemed like they were done with tourists and non locals. I am not cuban but love the food and culture. I didnt know exactly what they called the meal i wanted so i explained it the best i could. Arroz con abichuelas, yuca ensebollada y los mulos de lechon fritos...he responds "what"? I pointed to the meal on the menu and he responds"i cant see it" i take a picture and show it to him"aww i font got my glasses on"🤦🏽♂️ luckily a young guy came from the back of the kitchen and helped. After ordering at 4:48pm i waited for like 30 minutes before one of the cooks asked" que espera el muchacho"(whats this guy waiting for) obviously my food i ordered 30 minutes ago! I calmly explained that iv been waiting a while and saw alot of people who were behind me in line get there food eat and leave! I had an appointment in downtown miami at 6pm! Her response"chiko calmate que lla sale" 20 minutes later i finally got my food. Iv been coming to Florida long enough to know that service sucks here but i came to reyes because it was such a family oriented, welcoming, nice place to be but, i think this pandemic and the tourist and spring breakers beat the nice out of them. All in all...i dont think il be back😥 i lost the $80 deposit for my appointment thanks to them.this meal came out...
Read moreI visited this establishment with a friend from Florida. I ordered the lamb chop that came with rice and Jack beans and a side. The food was not good at all. I actually threw it in garbage. Seems they just cook the food and serve it. I didn’t taste any seasoning. Definitely won’t purchase any food there again. I did purchase a coconut and drank the juice and it was very fresh. I didn’t purchase fruit or vegetables etc. The parking area is gravel and they have indoor and outdoor seating. There is also a small playground but not sure if...
