UPDATE BASED ON OWNER RESPONSE:
The staff was SO kind. They always are. The pizza quality was off that day, maybe that’s why the crust seemed off?? The quality just was not usually what we get. I guess quality, taste, and smell can be reviewed by camera idk?? The pizza is usually outstanding. Apparently it’s frowned upon to misspeak about the order. A male jumped on the phone, because the male “manager” wasn’t very friendly and not understanding.
If it were my establishment. I may have offered money back for the 2 liter the customer never got. Just me, maybe that’s how they make a profit 🤣
5 stars to the staff, they’re great. 1 for the owners attitude, you can see in previous “bad” reviews, he has an answer for everything.

VERY RUDE OWNER.
We’ve always enjoyed Simple Simons until last night. We even drive a total of 40 minutes for it.
Last night I placed an online order for a Large pizza, light sauce, pizzeria crust and pineapple. A calzone and a 2 liter. The pizza had more than light sauce, and pineapple only on half of the pizza. Our crust was also wrong. Our calzone was just meh. Not like the usual we get. We also forgot to grab our 2 liter. Our fault. Anyway, that was all fine. Mistakes happen.
I call today, explain to the manager the quality of our food. She states she will call back. We then get a call back from Matt/Matthew (The owner). He immediately jumps to “I watched the cameras the pizza was made exactly to order, you ordered the pizza with only half pineapple, I see from the camera you didn’t grab your 2 liter. What’s the problem” it was very accusatory, tone and all. Like we were trying to get a free pizza out of him? I said the half pineapple must have been my mistake when ordering online, I did not realize. He said “you told the manager you had NO pineapple” another very accusatory statement. Just weird. The overall quality was poor. He continued to say the pizza was made correctly from the cameras.. offered no solution. He didn’t care we drive 40 minutes & back often to get pizza from his store. It is their goal to be the best just for us,the customers. The mangers and owners are the best. They treat their employees and customers with the upmost respect. They jump in and help cook, serve ,clean what every needs to be down . I have seen it and that speaks volumes to me. Simple Simon's is very involved in our community and the kids. They are "GOWER PROUD". Read moreI heard good things about this place so I thought it would be good. I was SO wrong. The lady who I talked to was so rude. I understand the food industry is a tough business but holy cow, she was incredibly rude. I noticed she was also very smug and rude with her co-worker as well. It’s unacceptable to see that negativity in a work environment. I believe her name started with an S according to a snippet I heard from her fellow worker. The pizza itself isn't bad at all, really good actually. But the sanitary conditions? Not so good! Overall workers are rude and unpleasant, food is tasty very good breadsticks, and the place could use a deep clean!
