Capri Pizza Parlor — Restaurant in Grafton

When it comes to restaurant reviews I would like to think that I treat each establishment with respect and unbiased opinion. When the family visited the Capri Pizza Parlor we had no expectations of what we would find. What we did find though was the local hangout and eatery where they made you feel like a local! The decor of the parlor is straight out of the 70's. Not because they are trying to be retro but because it hasn't been updated since then. Unlike most most people I do not mind this in a hometown restaurant, in fact it adds to the flair of the establishment. We ordered our pizzas and took a seat while we waited. The salads where homemade and very good. The pizza had a light airy crust that was a little too bready for my liking but was very flavourful and welcomed after a day on the water on Tygart Lake. The servers where cordial and very friendly. I would recommend the parlor to you but with one caveat, do not expect to be blown away by the establishment but know that your going to get a good meal with a great hometown atmosphere and friendly service. Food Review: My mom really likes their steak hoagies with peppers and onions. Update on the pizza, we got a Deluxe and was not a fan. The crust tasted burnt and was tough. Even my mom didn't like it and she isn't a picky eater. We rated the pizza a 4/10 overall. Plus we were told it would be done in 25 to 30 minutes, it took 45 minutes.
