Only leaving this review because I didn’t see Marlene and I feel she needs to know. I gave 3 starts bc we’ve enjoyed the place in the past. We got there at 10:10 on Saturday. Not even acknowledged until 10:30. The brunette lady seemed angry and bothered we were there. We watched the table next to us walk out for the same reason (4 people that told her they’d been there over an hour and dared to ask her how much longer). Asked us if we needed a menu, I said yes. That upset her more. Then she quickly announced no omelettes. I know their 10:30 rule on that, I wasn’t going to order one anyhow. I mean you can order toast, you can order egg sandwich with cheese, but how dare we ask to just take the toast and put a piece of cheese in between. I nicely ordered him an egg plate. Read moreMy Brother took me to lunch for my Birthday to Marlene's. I did not know it was there, and between him and our friend Robert bragging on it (they try a different item from the menu a couple of times a month) I was really looking forward to it. I was not disappointed - everything they said was true. Homemade breads, desserts, soups, etc....The service was excellent. The place was very clean. I am going back every time I can! Tip: Order your dessert when you order your lunch, or else...
