Neri's on the Square — Restaurant in Graham

It was a very nice, laid-back kind of place. The food was outstanding 👌. We ordered an appetizer, chips and salsa, and sandwiches. Had to been the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Everything was fine but the service was so bad it was almost funny. Destiny is young and enthusiastic in her role as a waitress but hasn't learned how to do her job. I would guess emphasis was placed on clearing the tables instead of checking on your tables and seeing what they may need. She never asked if we needed anything but repeatedly came back to our table trying to pick up our appetizer while we were still eating. I felt embarrassed cause I had to keep saying we were still eating on it. At the end we got our tab and my husband was using the restroom and she took our drinks while I am still sitting there..... she quotes, "I'm just trying to clean the table". Ok... people come to eat and relax. Not to get pushed through like cattle. It was like your done now get out. She need to be retrained at her job or the person who trained her needs to be retrained. We will be back because the food was awesome. But please this ruins your meal. Update. We came back. We got another new person. Seems to have a high turnover rate. He didn't know anything. I asked if anything came with the chicken and waffles and he says I don't know I'm new 🤦‍♀️, maybe go ask? Anyway, I asked for a side of fries. He brought my food, but no fries cause "they don't come with it". But I asked for fries (you know you can upcharge right?) I let him know the waffles were terrible (I couldn't eat them), and he says sorry. No what's wrong with them, how can I make it right or let me go speak to a manager. Nothing. Chicken was good. Won't make the drive again. Customer service screams we don't care about...

I'm trying to figure out how this place got 4.4 stars.

We stopped in today for a late lunch while traveling. The place was almoat empty, but it took a solid 10min for the waiter to acknowledge us... which should have convinced us to go elsewhere, but options are limited in a small town.

Finally got drinks and ordered queso. The "queso" was lukewarm cheese whiz with a little bit of pico in it. Luckily, our 4yo's palate isn't all that discriminating.

The entrées arrived and were decent, but very generic. They were hot, though, so I guess there's that.

While we were eating, the manager and our waiter had it out in the dining room and the waiter was told to leave.

After we finished eating, we waited another 15min for a different waiter to bring our bill. On the bill, we were charged fully 50% more for the "queso" over the price on the menu and charged for a substitution which, of course, we were not told was extra when we ordered. We paid it, anyway, just so we could get back on the road.

BONUS: There was no soap in the ladies' room, and when I told the staff member who was waiting for the stall, she just shrugged like it didn't matter.

In general, this was the worst restaurant experience we've had in months. We were the only customers for most of the time and there were at least five floor employees after our original...

I keep giving this place a chance and am unimpressed every single time.

Got the $17 asian salad.... it tasted alright but was really small.

Got the $40 Cowboy Ribeye.... for a ribeye, totally flavorless and the color was off. Seemed as if it had been frozen and flash thawed to be cooked or something. The mashed potatoes were cold and soupy. The best part about the meal was the string beans.

Ordered A1 on the side with the steak to-go. Got home and no A1.

When I went to pay for and pick up my carryout, there were 4 employees at the register talking. 1 on my side of the counter and 3 on the back side. They couldn't be bothered by a customer waiting on them. The gentleman behind the register eventually walked out from behind the register and brought me my reciept while standing in line behind their own employee.... but then they carried on socializing as I continued to stand there waiting to pay, receipt now in hand.

I was told 15 - 20 mins for my order. It took 45mins.

Got the cheesteak sub...... mediocre at best and very light on meat, mostly bread.

Overall, very dissatisfied with the food and service without even taking the absurd prices into...
