Casey's — Restaurant in Grain Valley

Arrived at a peak time, (12:15) I expected to wait for a sandwich. However, there was only one person in sight and he had a steady stream of approximately 5 people at the register. I asked if I paid fist and then waited. He glanced around and said there was another person. I interjected ... would that be kid sitting back by the dumpster? Yes, he replyed, he's on a smoking break. Really!? He can kill his lungs on his own time... this is poor management. I don't blame the kid. We all know that they are hired in these entry jobs to gather skills to get better jobs. But he's not going to get that without management. The guy at the register offered to take my payment then and also offered to give me my drink for free for having to wait. From time of arrival to driving out of the lot was 20 min. .. not too bad .. but not good considering that I was the only one getting a sandwich. The kid may have potential. .. will never know ... management let him slip through the the cracks. P.s. he walked in and asked me if wanted straight from the dumpster!!! I said I'll let you know after you get your shirt on and wash your hands. P.p. s. Then he grab a knife and wiped it off on a rag hanging from the sink that flies were on. Good training would have solved all of this. C- cleanly A- attentive S-solution...

I’ve ordered from this Casey’s numerous times and every single time I get there when my email says my pizza is estimated to be ready the kitchen guy is on his phone in their office and the cashier has to tell him an order was placed a half hour ago and he needs to start it. I’m really tired of ordering and showing up just to have to wait for it to be made because people cannot stay off of their phones and do their job. I would like to get ahold of upper Casey’s management and talk about this issue. I’m here right now with the same exact problem writing this review as a wait for another pizza that I ordered at 9:40 and he didn’t start making until 10:07. If you need your pizza to be ready when it says it will be NEVER order from this location because it NEVER is. It doesn’t help that he wears sunglasses with pot leaves on the frame. He doesn’t need a job if he’s not willing to do his job period. So far it’s been 7 different times that have ended...

I have had problems with this store everytime I order pizza from there. Tonight I got a kid who was rude from the second I called. Then I got my pizza and it was wrong so I called. The kid told me it would be an hour and a half or two hours before I got my replacement. I asked why and he said "because I said so" so I said he has a bad attitude and he said that I had the sh*tty attitude. then said well just make my pizza again and I will come get it and he said "ok dad" I went up there and told him again that his attitude was crap and he kept it up. I threw my pizza on the ground (I know that was wrong) but I was really angry. Then I got asked to leave. I have never been treated so poorly and I am in shock that it happened in...
