Mae's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Granby

I absolutely love this place! Have only had the pleasure of ordering 3 times now (there will be many more!), but each time the food has been amazing.

Writing this now, because just ordered tonight, and just stuffed our faces, and then I received a call from Mae's because they were concerned they may have not made my grinder correctly. First, I am a super picky eater, so I had made substitutions and additions (through the app mind you). I started eating my grinder and it was so delicious it took probably 3/4 bites for me to even notice one thing was missing (which made no difference at all). Not only were the meats, cheese and veggies fresh, the grinder was packed full!

I was so surprised to get a call from them, and assured them was absolutely delicious regardless, and one of the best, most satisfying grinders I've ever had around here.

It says a lot about an establishment to take time out of their busy night to check in with a customer to make sure their order was okay. I will most certainly continue to recommend them...

The pizza, apps, and people are all 5 stars- seriously top notch. If there was Mount Rushmore for pizza, Mae’s would be on it. So happy to have Mae’s in our community.

Why not 5 stars? Third party delivery via Slice app has been seriously subpar on 90% of the dozen or so deliveries I’ve done over the past year. Lost or 30-60 min late on delivery is the norm. It’s true, the individual delivery is out of Mae’s control… and I am happy to have the option for pizza delivery. But it’s been enough of a consistent issue that I felt that it should be noted in hopes of a better solution or to set the expectation before people give Mae’s a shot and get frustrated with the delivery.

If you can drive to pickup- I highly recommend that for the best Mae’s experience! If you need to do delivery, add notes in the optional delivery comment section and preheat your oven to warm up the cold pizza for whenever it...

I've had a lot of pizza in the area. And many of them have been excellent. But Mae's is at a different level. From the sauce to the cheese, it's just so flavorful. I'm not a big fan of crust but can't get enough when I get a pizza from Mae's. Their dough tastes so good. As I stood there waiting for my order the owner greets everyone that walks in as he's working hard at the pizza bench. The shop looked to be a well oiled machine between cooking pizzas and the other employees making grinders and appetizers. It takes me 20 mins to get to Mae's from my house but it's worth the trip. This is the first review I've ever done in my life. And because of their product and the great people working there I took my time to post this. We can't wait...
