We cannot rave about this place more! My wife and I love eating here and we typically go out of our way to do so! Their food is incredible, we have loved everything we’ve had from there and they use the absolute best ingredients! We have truthfully never been let down by a single bite we’ve ever had. This place is way more than just amazing food though, their service is absolutely incredible and let me tell you a story about it. Recently my wife and I called ahead and ordered take out and on our way there I screwed up, accidentally ran something over and blew our tire. It was a stressful situation trying to call roadside service and get help and in the meantime I called Tiger Belly back letting them know what happened and that we wouldn’t be able to pick up our order for a while/need to cancel it. When I called, Kiyen answered, the owner of Tiger Belly, and without hesitation and with great compassion and understanding he offered to bring our food to us! He felt terrible about the situation we were in and he wanted to do what he could to help make it better! So he got in his car, drove us our food personally himself and then also tried assisting in us getting our tire fixed and back on the road. It was an absolutely incredible gesture and again speaks to how great this place and its people are. He needed to do none of this but instead he did something that was way above and beyond! Like I said, my wife and I already loved this place but even more now they have...

I can’t believe how many 5 star reviews this place has.

My boyfriend, a friend, and I came for dinner at about 7 pm on a Saturday less than 2 weeks ago. It was not busy in the dining room and we were seated right away. The waitress failed to inform us that there was 1 chef working and wait times were extra long. We ordered a little bit of sushi and one entree each - a poke bowl, the “darkness” pork ramen, and the guy’don rice bowl. It took over 45 minutes for the sushi, and the poke bowl came shortly after. My friend ate it so it wouldn’t get cold (and he was also very hungry by this point), and was done eating for at least 10 min before my boyfriend and I’s food came out. The waitress didn’t check up on us during this long wait time and didn’t apologize for the entrees being brought out so far apart. My boyfriend’s ramen had a single piece of pork in it, despite being $16, and it was cold.

The waitress took a measly $3 off our bill when we complained that his food was cold and admitted that they “forgot to reheat the ramen.” She did not offer to bring a warm one. I told her how disappointing our experience was between this and the wait times and instead of apologizing, she told me that take out orders were taking up two hours, as if that was supposed to make us feel better. Lastly, said I could complain to “that guy over there” (pointed to another employee) if I’d like, but didn’t give me his name or offer to bring him over.

I’d recommend anyone to...

My family has been eating at tiger belly and was fortunate enough to be served by an outstanding waiter named Chi. From the moment we were seated, Chi's warmth and attentiveness made our experience truly exceptional.

Chi was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also enthusiastic about recommending dishes that paired beautifully with our chosen beverages. His timing was impeccable; he knew exactly when to check in on us without being intrusive. He seamlessly handled multiple tables while maintaining a friendly demeanor, ensuring that everyone felt cared for.

What truly set Chi apart was his genuine passion for customer service. He engaged us in conversation, remembered our preferences, and even made sure my dietary restrictions were considered. By the end of the meal, it felt less like a transaction and more like a delightful evening spent with a friend.

It’s clear that Chi goes above and beyond in his role, displaying a level of professionalism and charm that significantly enhances the dining experience. He deserves a raise for his exceptional service, as employees like him are rare gems in the hospitality industry. I left the restaurant not only satisfied with the meal but also with a warm feeling, thanks to Chi’s fantastic service. I wholeheartedly recommend recognizing his hard work with a...

Read great reviews and saw delicious pictures online of this place. I bookmarked it and have been trying to get here for a while. The front entrance was locked with a sign saying to use the side door. The interior was very minimalistic. I was greet right away and I asked if they had a high chair, which they did. We were seated and brought waters right away. They didn't have a children's menu so I ordered my toddler ramen and broth which they happily obliged; this was $10 for anyone wondering. My husband and I shared two sushi rolls which was a lunch special; Philadelphia Roll and eel/avocado roll, both were fresh and tasty. My main course, "the Darkness Ramen", in tonkotsu broth, pork belly, fried garlic, ajitama cured egg, bean sprouts, green onions, bamboo shoots, kikurage earwood mushroom with black garlic oil. The pork was very tender and melted in my mouth and the egg had a unique flavor; every flavor intermingled perfectly. I'm more of a fan of tangy and spicy flavors but I'm glad I got to try this out. I'm looking forward to going back to try out their wings, other entrees, and sushi.

The food was amazing, and service was great. The wait time was on the longer side but we sat down at the beginning of dinner so it was very reasonable. The food is also made to order. Appetizers were rushed in order to prevent people going hungry. The environment is great. There are a few tables, as well as a long bar to eat at. Tables have cozy low-lighting, and the bar has bright lights as it surrounds the cooking area. If you don't like to be cozy with strangers, they do have a to-go option. Ingredients are listed on the menu, helping those of us with dietary restrictions. The dark bowl is the Darkness ramen (tonkotsu/pork broth with pork belly) and the light bowl is the Budda bowl (spicy veggie broth ramen with tofu and mushrooms) The menu also has sushi, sashimi, pho, a pork rice bowl, and various appetizers. I was very satisfied.
