Let me start if by saying I wish you could rate by half stars because this place deserve a 4.5+ for my meal today. I had the (3) Quesabirria taco plate. It comes with rice and beans and it set me back $7.49 which is a really good price for the meal. (Edit: the price since my initial review had increased. Now the plate is 10.25+ tax) I have had Birria tacos from a few places so far and these are by far the best ones yet. I’m not saying they’re the best in town but they are definitely worth trying out. They use plenty of cheese, they were stuffed, and had plenty of flavor without being too salty. I will definitely have this plate again. The beans and rice were about average but the tacos are the reason I’m giving a 4.5+ star rating Second visit: so since this place was good enough the first time for me to return again I decided to try their Mega Monster Cheeseburger. The patties were frozen, which in. It knocking, they were still juicy. The fries, me personally I felt like they could use a bit more seasoning. Overall I was satisfied with the burger. It was. I thing that blew me away. My brother in law had the Torta-Birria and I will say that thing looked impressive. For a $10 plate that thing looked like it could’ve fed 2 people easy. Another friend had the taco plate and he said the tacos were really good. Overall I would still rate this place about a 4 star because I have never been disappointed with a meal selection. It just bums me out that they raised the prices so steeply but I guess everything is going up lately

If you haven’t tried Taco Reyna yet, you’re seriously missing out. This place is an absolute must for food lovers, especially if you’re craving bold, flavorful eats with a homemade touch. Let’s start with the Quesabirrias—they are on another level! Perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy and cheesy on the inside, with tender, flavorful birria meat that melts in your mouth. Paired with their rich consommĂ©, it’s the kind of meal that makes you close your eyes after the first bite. Trust me, these are the best quesabirrias I’ve had in the DFW area. Now, don’t sleep on the burgers either. You might not expect it from a taco spot, but Taco Reyna’s burgers are legit. Big, juicy, well-seasoned patties with all the right toppings—savory, satisfying, and made fresh to order. You can taste the quality in every bite. The staff is always friendly, the service is quick, and everything is made with care. Whether you're grabbing lunch or looking for a new favorite dinner spot, Taco Reyna delivers every Time

We live in Grand Prairie and tonight we ordered tacos, beans and rice from 4 different Mexican restaurants in the area~ Taco Reyna came out as the clear winner! The corn tortillas and meat were Delicious! We had the carnitas (my favorite!), fajitas (came with sautĂ©ed onions) and barbacoa~ all great options. Yummmm Beans are delicious~ they have a nice porky flavor to them. Last time I had beans that tasted this good I was in Mexico and they made the beans with ox tail. SO GOOD! The Rice was okay~ it didn’t have much flavor but we definitely had worse rice tonight from other restaurants. Also their green salsa blew all the other green salsa flavors out of the water~ Update ~ 2 weeks later and we ordered again! Rice is on point. Tacos are still delicious, the enchiladas were fantastic but the Quesabirria plate was next level!! The meat was so flavorful and the cheese was soft and melted. Yum ~ so obsessed with this place!!
