Puck’s by the Lake — Restaurant in Grant

I wanted to love this place, but definitely could not. Burgers, chicken fingers, and fries took 45 minutes to come out and none of it tasted good. Half the tenders were burned and the lady apologized for it when she gave them to us (we didn’t point it out) but didn’t offer to fix it. Fries were too greasy and the cooking oil smelled really old. Burger patties seemed like frozen bubba burgers. The eating area is super dated and sad. Overall just a bad experience and not worth the $70 on junk food for three adults...

Great breakfast at a good price. About about 15 minutes from Lake Guntersville State Park lodge, it's well worth visiting. The restaurant is tucked inside a building at the marina but there are no signs - go through the marina gate, turn to the left, and look for the flagpole. Go through the door behind the flagpole and go left down the hallway. You can enjoy a view of the lake while you eat. Worth the short trip for the food, but also for the beautiful drive...
