So frustrated - this is about management (Val) and kitchen staff. The wait staff is decent and Ricky is wonderful. We have frequented T-Dawgs relatively often, for many years. They normally handle their errors fine. This one escalated. I came to pick up a to-go-order of chicken wild rice soup with a bread bowl and a burger with fries. I got there, they said it's almost ready. After 5 minutes the waitress came out and said the kitchen told her there are no bread bowls (this has happened often). She offered bread sticks or to take the bread bowl off the ticket as usual. In frustration over the frequency that this happens I said she should take off the bread bowl and I shouldn't have to pay for the soup either. She couldn't do that herself so I said she should get someone who could. She left to get the manager. I waited over 10 minutes without the manager ever coming to talk to me. (Our prepared food just sitting in the kitchen). Then, magically, my order came out with a bread bowl. The manager(Val) just happened to find one but made me wait and never talked to me because she wasn't going to give me a $5 bowl of soap for my inconvenience and there inadequacy. That $5 would have been a quick solution and I would have been satisfied for tonight and given them another chance on another night. Well, I got it home, my wife took one bite and the soup was inedible it was so salty. The soup has always been one of the best chicken wild rice soups anywhere and it's always consistent so it really gives you the feeling they salted the order out of spite. There was enough salt that it made your mouth burn. So I packed it all up, took it back and got my money back. I still never talked to Val the manager or she never talked to me So very disappointed in her and the kitchen staff. I always tip 20 - 30% even on take-out and even tipped 20% tonight (not the waitress fault). It will be a long time before we and our friends return. Not comping $5 tonight and the manager never talking 2 minutes to talk to me cost them a $10 return and so much in future $$$$. For managements info...... With 2 - 4 people a time at 1- 2 times a month and another 6 - 8 people at 3 - 4 times a year then add in going to for a couple drinks a few more times and that's a lot of lost revenue and lots of lost tips. That's just what I and my wife bring in. Now add...
Read moreNot sure where to start! We have been coming to t dwags for about 1 year now. 2 to 3 times per month. Most of the time we bring friends and family with. So basically anywhere from 3 to 10 people per visit. This last time my husband brought his brother and family from Belgium. They had the rudest shift leader every. 4 our of 6 of the orders were done incorrectly. Items from make your own burger were missing. Asked for lettuce tomatoe onions and they would bring only one item and had to keep asking for other items. By the time everything came out all the food was cold!!! The appetizers came last! The waiter said quote. What do you expect if you order all the stuff for build your own burger!!!! Wow! What tops the cake is the shift lead said to my husband: we don’t need your business or customers like you here!!! Well. We nor our friends will not step out foot in this place ever again! Nice way to treat your customers. Not Just one time customers. But repeat!!! My husband did expect to get a discount on the food due to being wrong and cold. Was offered 13% discount. And was told well if you would not have eaten the food they would not have charged them. Well. The wings came way late and were cold and they did not eat them. They were still charged for them! Worst is yet to come. The lead proceeded to tell all the other people at the bar that it was about the waitress and not the food and was talking about how my husband and the guests expected a discount! Not sure who the owner of this place is. But if this was my restaurants I would have gotten rid of this person a long time ago! Sorry t dawg outside of this one time your staff was friendly and we liked going there. But who needs to be inslued the way this person insulted...
Read moreWent there tonight with my family (3 of us). When we arrived there were only two or three other tables that were occupied. We ordered our food within the first 20 minutes of being there. We all ordered burgers.
It took over an hour AFTER we ordered to get our food. When we got our food only TWO of the THREE orders came out. The waitress told us that they had forgotten the third order so they were just starting it and it would be another 10 minutes
or so before it would come out. As we were waiting for the third order to come out the other two meals weren’t very good. The fries were burnt and the burgers were undercooked. When the third meal came out it was also not good. Part of the burger was well done (as requested) and the other half was still very pink. The fries were undercooked and slimy.
We also ordered one meal to go and that came out with the first two meals instead of at the end.
The waitress did comp us our one soda order.
Overall EXTREMELY unsatisfied with my experience here. I will not...
