April 2022 Our family was leaving to head up north and we were in a hurry to get packed and such. We were hungry and decided on Culvers. Knowing the drive thru line at this location is always SUPER long we opted on ordering online and doing curbside pickup. We ordered at 5:20pm and they said the order would be ready for pickup at 5:45pm. So myself and my daughters head over there to pick up our dinner. We arrive exactly at 5:44. Check in on the online site that "we have arrived" So here we are sitting waiting for our dinner. It was busy, as expected. That's why we ordered online. After 10mins at 5:55I start getting irritated and my young daughters are getting impatient. We are sitting there watching everyone else in the drive thru get their food and drive away. At 6:00 I decided to check in on the app thing again. Thinking maybe the first time it didn't go through. So I click the button "we have arrived" once again. (At this point I wanted to just go inside and ask what's going on but with my daughters along I can not just leave them in the vehicle alone. That's why we chose the curbside....Should be simple... At 6:10 I flag down a worker and ask her what is going on. ( I already paid for this meal online or I just would have left at this point) She goes inside and comes out at 6:20 with our food. I asked if it has been sitting there and cold now. She replies yes it's been done for awhile, you never checked in online that you were here. I said great now our $35 dinner is all soggy and cold... Then I said I checked in online not once but TWICE. She just said sorry and walked away.
Moral of the story is that this location is a joke. Culvers has good food but I will never patronize this location ever again. Culvers is also not cheap so I will not tolerate bad service. I believe in you get what you pay for. That surely is not...
Read moreDO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! First and foremost, the wait time to receive 2 concrete mixers and 2 single scoops was unreasonably long. This delay was already frustrating enough, but the situation escalated when Jessica, one of your employees, exhibited extremely inappropriate behavior. In front of a line of people, Jessica proceeded to scream at me and continued making loud, passive-aggressive comments, accusing customers of abuse. Her outburst was not only unprofessional but also highly embarrassing for me as a customer. Several other customers who witnessed her aggressive verbal attack were equally appalled by her behavior. Instead of apologizing for the excessive wait time, she continued to berate me in an unprofessional and manic manner. She let me know that orders with food are the priority and then continued to encourage employees at the custard stand to delay making my order. We waited over 40 minutes for our order and it was still not even being considered to be made. How they decide to prioritize orders is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. Additionally, I noticed a serious concern regarding food safety practices during my visit. While waiting in line, I observed that most employees handling food were not wearing gloves. However, what disturbed me even more was that Jessica, after dealing with the cash register and money to issue me a refund while wearing gloves, went back to handling food with the same pair of gloves. This cross-contamination is unacceptable and could pose health risks to customers. I hope they take this review and the similar reviews of others seriously and investigate the matter thoroughly. It is apparent that change and appropriate action needs to...
Read moreOn Mother's Day we went to get a treat. My daughter, who is a mom & dealing with health issues, wanted to treat her son before he needed to go to work. Her order did not come, she asked for a refund, ran out of time to wait. The kid got Jessica to help. She was rude & rolled her eyes, my daughter said she had to go, just wanted a refund. Jessica then says "there are worse things, you could be stuck at work for 10 hrs". Daughter said she does that at her job, got her money & left. My other daughter was throwing her garbage away & heard a group of workers laughing about what happened & told them how unprofessional they were, they didn't realize we heard.I decide to have a chat with Jessica before I leave. I asked about her attitude & comment about being stuck at work for 10 hrs. She said she was putting it into perspective for her b'cuz my daughter was rude. I've worked in cust serv most of my life & this is not how things work, she says "so you get it". No, a cust pays for an order & your team messes it up, you apologize & make it right. They are choosing to work in this job & need to learn to treat cust's the way they would want to be treated themselves. This is the 2nd service issue I've had at this location, will not be back. I sure hope this is not the new standard for Culver's. The only reason for 1 star is I can't leave 0 stars & for those of us that did get our orders they were good. And I don't know why it matters how much we spent per person in the questionnaire for this post, I thought Culver's advertising says they treat everyone...
