Last Fall we had the wonderful opportunity to visit Kate's Sweet Shop and Mini Golf in Interlochen, and it was an absolute delight for my family and me. Not only did we have some of the best ice cream I've ever tasted, but we also enjoyed their newly renovated mini-golf course, which has quickly become a family favorite. My highlight of our visit to Kate's Sweet Shop had to be the carrot cake ice cream. It has the perfect blend of spices and real carrot cake pieces mixed in, making it an unforgettable treat. It's clear that Kate's uses high-quality ingredients to craft their unique flavors, which sets them a notch above the rest. As for the mini golf, the newly renovated course is both challenging and fun, offering a great variety of holes that are suitable for all ages. The attention to detail and the creativity of each hole made our experience enjoyable and memorable. It's the perfect way to spend an afternoon or evening, or a combination of ice-cream and putt-putt. I brought my family out tonight for ice cream. Two kids cups, a single moose tracks in a waffle cone for my wife. I ordered a single blackberry. I paid, left a good tip and when he handed me my ice cream it was black cherry. Simple enough mistake, but when I said I asked for the blackberry not black cherry he shut the window and looked at me like and idiot. Just stood there. Neither of the people working there attempted to even try so I took my black cherry and sat down with the family.
