I actually feel bad giving the review I'm about to give, because the two girls that were working were very nice, and the restaurant is very clean, and the food was fresh. However, this is a far cry from Greek, or Turkish street food. My wife lived in Turkey for 9 years, and I have been to Greece. Not sure what is actually Turkish here, but I didn't see anything? Seems like it is a lame attempt at clueless Greek food, for clueless Americans who don't know any better, and made by Americans that don't know any better, but you can only get away with this kind of pretense for so long, until someone catches you out, and calls you out. Good job I am not Gordon Ramsay. No one in Greece, or Turkey would serve pita they bought in a supermarket. Even at a street side vending cart. They would be ashamed. They would either buy the bread fresh from a local small bakery, made from a friend of theirs, or family, or more often than not, make it themselves. There's nothing better, than fresh, homemade, hot, out of the oven pitta bread. Now this is the first for me, I travel extensively all over the world, constantly for my job, this is the first Greek, Middle Eastern, Turkish food attempt I've ever seen that does not sell falafel? WTF. What about hot Turkish coffee and tea, lentil soup, paprika fries? I could go on. The vegan sandwich advertised, is not actually vegan, it has feta cheese in it, and tzatziki. (Law suit waiting to happen.) If you're going to advertise something as vegan, it better be vegan. In Turkey they use tahini, in Greece tzatziki. Disappointed, won't be back. I just asked that you stop advertising it as Turkish and Greek Street food, because you're just really lame, boring wrap place, that serves the food in...
Read moreI wish I could give this place 10 stars! I was shocked by how exceptional the Mediterranean food is here. What seems like a modest little restaurant surprises even the most dedicated fans of Mediterranean dishes.
I spent a little time talking to the owner Sammy to ask how he pulls off fine dining style meals at affordable counter service prices. He simply explained how he is using cherished family recipes and keeps things simple to make sure each flavor and texture works perfectly. And you know what, it does. All of it.
Every dish, and I’ve now eaten here three times this week, is as close to perfection as you can get. It’s honest food. Hand made every day, with an open kitchen so you can watch a master chef cheerfully make you a meal with love.
I’m smitten with this food and the service too. And I dare you to find better in any major city in...

We took a Saturday drive and made a delightful discovery in the small Ohio town of Gallipolis — a gem called GyrOH, serving Greek and Turkish street food.
We started with the hummus and ordered the combo platter, which was more than enough for two. The platter included three meats — chicken, lamb, and kofte — along with a flavorful pea salad, fresh Greek salad, and perfectly seasoned rice. For dessert, we couldn’t resist the baklava, which was the perfect sweet finish.
The prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was warm and family-friendly, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. The owner even stopped by our table to share that the recipes came from his mother’s cookbook, which made the meal feel even more special.
We’ll definitely be back — our only regret is that this wonderful place isn’t...
