Fresh Food Deli — Restaurant in Green

Make sure to call ahead or be willing to wait a little!! They are not fast food, and you can tell they really care about the quality of the food they serve. It’s sad to see other reviewers were put off by the calling ahead/waiting situation, as they missed out on a delicious high quality meal. I stopped in with my family for lunch and the guy behind the counter asked us if we had ordered ahead. We told him we did not and he explained that it will take some time as he makes all of the food fresh. Waiting wasn’t an issue for us and we were excited by the expectation he set. We put in our order and came back to pick it up after 25 minutes. And WOW we were blown away by the portions and quality. And for the price, it’s unbeatable. Would love to explore...

I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Placed my order ahead of time, longer wait due to how BUSY they were today cause of St. Patty's Day. Didn't mind. Showed up at my time and was greated with food ready to go for me. Grabbed 2 pieces of baklava I forgot to post too. Got the Rueben with thousand island and a (small) greek salad. Got home and it was all still so fresh, so full of flavor it was unreal. Ate the entire salad in 15 minutes. The sandwich is GIANT and well worth the price. Came with a pickle. Unfortunately the owner was angry we didn't call ahead. We passed it and thought we would stop as we support local business. Owner explained it was fresh. We are used to fresh food and waiting isn't an issue. I was terribly upset being 74 and handicapped and yet went in to order. My husband let him know I was upset. A small sign saying to call wasn't visible from the way we came in. I am sure if he wants customers he won't treat you so unkind. The sandwich wasn't bad, and better than most in this area. It was less than a 15 minute wait as the parking lot was empty. I wish them luck however. And I won't be...
