Mi Tierra Linda — Restaurant in Greencastle

I travel all over the U.S, and I can honestly say, this is the 1st time I've left a bad review on mexican food which is my favorite. My husband and I had our food delivered, although it took a long time, the driver was polite. However, the food was a HUGE disappointed. My husband had street tacos. The chicken was like crumbs and had no taste. He had beans and rice on the side, and couldn't eat the beans. And the tomatillo salsa! Never in my life have I seen salsa that color! It was so bright green it look radioactive and tasted sour! The Fiesta Burrito I had, mine as well have been called a Rice Burrito, because there was just a small chunk of meat in it. As for the rice, it wasn't too bad, but I can't stand Peas ( and I know it's common for Peas, carrots and green beans to be put in the red rice, but not inside a burrito!) For the love of God! (Street taco) Birria Tacos not dipped in red sauce and cooked on flattop in fact no Birria sauce( consomé) at all on the taco . sad

Chicken enchiladas- the whole dish was dry very little enchilada sauce very small enchiladas compared to other restaurants in the area and the quality was sub par. the green tomatillo sauce was a unnatural electric blue color not sure what that was about but didn't even try it.

Birria burrito- came with a small cup of birria sauce unlike the tacos. sadly this $14.00 burrito consisted mostly of rice no birria sauce on the meat inside

Churros- They were great.

Chips and salsa.. both tasted great. to bad they sent enough salsa for about 6 chips they sent a big bag of.

Having had delivery from all the other restaurants that offer Mexican food in the area, I can say this was not a quality experience and I will not be going to or ordering...

We decided to try takeout here today to enjoy in the heat of the day on one of our adventures- we ordered online using two different apps somehow (operator error on me!)- the woman who attended to our takeout order was very pleasant and checked right on our food, and got it out to me complete with plastic ware and everything we would need. It was a pleasant experience. I did give it three stars because there was not much flavor in the street tacos and the description indicated cilantro and onion in the street tacos and all we had in them were the specified ingredients (see photo of description)- but we would try it again and the service was very nice. Specials board was nicely posted outside of the restaurant. Be mindful, the mild sauce is very, very mild, if you are a fan of flavor I would be a bit more...
