My late lunch experience required much patience. First time to this restaurant...ordered the veal parm dinner. First time red flag --- there was a live ant running around on my menu. When I brought it to the wait staff's attention she said. Oh there are everywhere. Then she asked I wanted a different menu. yeah!! I ordered the fresh brewed ice t. Unsweetened. I didn't care for the flavor so requested a half of a glass of sweet t so I could mix it. Got Unsweetened. Young lady then fixed it. Her ability to pay attention seemed to be lacking. Requested napkins...they arrivedsever trips later. Requested dessert menu ... after asking specific questions about the chocolate peanut butter cake --- it was not what we discussed....cake was a peanut bitter filling with chocolate cake on top and bottom with chocolate icing with peanut butter cup pieces. Veal parm was good not too special.
I didn't fuss for being short staffed or with new staff... but I was not satisfied. I spend $30 for lunch for one person...I would have appreciated a...
Read moreVery good!!There are lots of great Italian food options all over Pennsylvania so generally speaking it is rare that I have had a negative experience. I typically order a Stromboli or pasta with onions peppers and sausage or chicken. In this case they had “sausage, green peppers and onions” on the menu so I ordered that and added chicken too. Served with a side salad and complimentary hot bread, I could not have been more satisfied with the flavor of my meal. For the salad I chose their house vinaigrette which was fantastic!!
We had a large group celebrating someone’s birthday and we were all pretty full. One of my brothers ordered the chicken Alfredo and thoroughly enjoyed it and my sister said her “crab Alfredo” was very good.
Atmosphere was nice but big issue was their air conditioner had gone out and it was quite warm in there. We had excellent service but their only seemed to be one waitress who was stretched thin.(but did a marvelous job). They were very busy that evening as there were several groups like ours of...
Read moreI live in rather close proximity to the Italian Village. My family eats in and gets take out from there at least once a month. First, their bread is UNPARALLELED in this area. It seriously makes their sandwiches the best around. Their Italian dishes are also incredible not to mention their house dressing. There are only two negative pieces of this puzzle for me. One is their pizza. With delicious dough and tasty marinara, I don't know why their pizza continues to be incredibly bland. Seriously, it baffles me. Two, the interior of the restaurant is pretty cheesy. It could do with a VERY significant overhaul. If it was better designed, we'd easily eat in there more, especially since it's BYOB and I can take my beverage of choice. On the whole, this is a nice little gem in Greenvillage with quality food at very...
