After a pretty disappointing ice cream stop at another shoppe, I was seriously craving a real nostalgic treat — you know, one of those perfect flavor burst custard cones that just hits right. My husband, being the hero he is, drove us a few extra miles from Carlisle to Chambersburg to give Kenny’s a try — and honestly, it was everything we needed.
The ice cream alone would’ve been worth the trip, but we ended up trying their regular menu too and were genuinely impressed. The staff was super friendly, and the burgers? Incredible. One bite in, and we were both like, “Okay, this is really good.” Also, random shoutout to the tomato on that burger — it was so fresh it actually stood out, which never happens.
As first-timers making the drive from Mechanicsburg, we left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Kenny’s completely redeemed our day — highly recommend if you’re looking for something that feels like a classic summer stop with food that...
Read morelet me just start off by saying I have never posted a good review before but the experience I just had at Kennys will ensure I never return and warn anyone who might in the future. My boyfriend and I ordered food tonight and the girl over the headset was very snappy and rude, I work in food service so i thought maybe she was having a bad night, but then we pull up to the window and there are no sprinkles on the cone (we ordered them and she even verified that we were getting chocolate and we were charged) my boyfriend very politely asks if she can add then to the cone she take it and i can see her mouthing off in the window, she add a total of 12 sprinkles to the cone and called it a day if it was an issue of money i can pay for extra sprinklers no need to be rude also this is not the first time i have had awful service from the teenagers who...
Read moreI went here after a long bike ride so my review might be a little skewed since I was starving. Although I've been here before and every time it was good. I got the candy Burger which is their signature Burger and it was delicious they only bummer is I had to pay extra for cheese and bacon. The bacon I understand but I think that she should come standard and not cost an extra 80 cents. I also got a large fry which really was large and then I got a Reese pieces tornado which had the most candy in it of any blizzard type ice cream I've had. The only other problem I noticed was the service was a little slow but considering they do have drive-thru here it's hard to tell how busy they actually were so that is forgiven. For being a long standing local joint you should try it out since they have stood the test of time. I don't think you'll be...
