Best Mexican Restaurant in Greene County…
I hate to give up my favorite places but this is one is to good to keep a secret. First I am not at all affiliated with this restaurant. I don’t know who owns it and frankly don’t care. What I care is that the food is fresh, always consistent and they have great waitstaff.
My husband and I go 1-2 times a month and are never disappointed. Also we can easily get out of there with a $30 tab and always end up with extras so it’s one of the few affordable dining options I have seen…. And they don’t short change by serving inferior food.
So what if it’s in a strip mall ….. it’s easy to overlook and not seen easily from the street and I suspect that’s why it’s not getting its fair share of patrons. But man there isn’t anything we’ve had that hasn’t been delicious … and the salsa bar is Devine. Dozens of different choices to use with the massive serving of fresh and hot chips (which are never stale). Plus they serve this amazing bean dip when they bring the chips… (omg the best). They do serve limited beer options but enough you can still have a good beer with the meal.
Staff is fun and make sure you have everything you need… try it …. You’ll love it and want to share the location...
Read moreWould have given more stars but waitress Lexie is rude and disrespectful. About 3 weeks ago a coworker and I went there for lunch. I ordered a water with no lemon and she ordered tea with no lemon. When Lexie brought them to the table mine had lemon in it. All I said was, “I said no lemon but ok” and took the lemon out. From that point t in she was a horrible waitress. The last two Friday’s we have been in there and she says, “I’m not getting their table.” I’m fine with her not wanting to wait on us but she doesn’t have to give dirty looks and be rude. This past Friday, September 11, she called me a Bi**h to someone else that works there. I get she is young but that’s uncalled for. The food is always good when we go but they need to do something about...
Read moreRead the reviews and thought this would be a great place to eat. Too bad we didn't get a chance to eat there. We went in the door and the waitress pointed to a booth, I guess she didn't want to walk us to a table. We sat down and patiently waited for someone to get our drink order and bring a bowl of salsa and chips. The wait staff seated several tables after we sat down, and immediately got their drink orders, gave them menus and brought out chips. We waited ten minutes but to no avail. We left and went to Monterrey, where we were seated as soon as we entered, and within thirty seconds the waiter had our drink order. We were served a delicious meal, with excellent service. I won't try the Salsa...
