As small towns go this one is a hidden gem if you are passing through and looking for a quick bite. Who doesn’t get pretzels in Pennsylvania Dutch country? Well we did and they were amazing. The fried cheese balls stayed creamy longer than expected. For fried bar foods the taste was light and the food was crisp. We ate and played a game of pool. A stage, several TVs and lotto games are also available for entertainment.

We like to stop in Glenns Place during the evenings to take advantage of their nightly specials. Tuesday from 4 to 6 is happy hour, and Wednesday is pizza special. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. They also have many betting machines if you enjoy those

I went here to see a band, the food was good however I don't drink, I'm the D.D and I'll never pay $3.75 for a watered down soda outta the tap.. which fyi costs then .20 yes TWENTY CENTS and that's for a larger cup let's say solo red cup size.. these were smaller.. absolutely ridiculous I'll take a drink and leave it in my car and go out when I'm thirsty before paying almost $4.00 for about 8 oz of fountain soda! Drink prices are also higher than most places and again for a much smaller cup.. I've seen this same band Hair Force One in Johnstown, Altoona etc. Door price has always been $5.00 here it was $8.00 no biggie they're worth it but the drinks, not so much especially soda on tap.. I've been to fancy Nightclubs in Harrisburg with cups twice the size and extra cherries....fyi no cherries here... and only paid $2.00/$2.50 for a soda! *Edit... I thought I'd give this place one more try... it was my ONLY night off and again, I went to see a band which started at 9pm... I was hungry .. they stopped serving food at 9pm... WHAT BAR, TAVERN ETC. stops serving food of any kind at 9PM... Well that's that.. headed home.. I'll grab Sheetz...

The jalapeños in the the jalapeño poppers tasted like they were grown in the back yards of meth heads in McKeesport with the cheese coming from a crack house somewhere in Aliquippa and then bought on a discount from the local Walmart that couldnt sell them then served as bar food to a bunch of drunks like myself at any bar that would sell them. As for the cheese steak hoagie, it was definitely pretty ok. I enjoyed it. The service was great and it was a cool old school atmosphere just how I like it. I definitely recommend this spot for some brews and bar food except for the...
