Pizza Cottage — Restaurant in Greenfield Township

A neiborhood favorite in a newer strip mall. Seems that most of the servers/waitress are young people supplementing there high school educational experience with real world experience. Some have it going on, others have no idea of what is going on. Pizza is good, mine was served still hot. A Whole Hog on Sicilian dough (deep dish) ham, bacon pepperoni, sausage with provolone cheese. It was a enjoyable taste. Price was on the upper side of the price range, and I did get what I payed for. menu has12 to 15 subs listed on menu, along with four or five different salads and chicken wings. The beer is almost cold and is very limited on selection. No dark beer, a few light beers, few more pilsners. No IPA was available. Management has always had limited selection of beer. The interior was clean. It is decorated with the standard themes. Seating is covered with a range of small tables and booths to large tables setting 10/12 people. A large private party room can be reserved for meeting, reunions, party's or whatever event. All in all it was a enjoyable...

Save your money and get DiGiorno. Just had the most unsatisfactory experience in my entire 23 years of life. This was especially disappointing because I am a former server myself. I was delighted to pop into Lancaster for some errands and decided to stop by pizza cottage- a usual favorite. Unfortunately today’s experience made pizza cottage a usual joke. We ordered 2 pizzas and we only received one. Our server was a total stranger during the entire experience because she didnt introduce herself or check on us during the entire hour stay. After delivering our pizza, she never returned- it’s like she disappeared into thin air. Our drinks were out and our throats were parched. About 45 min after the pizza drop, the estranged server finally gave us the check and we explained that we never got our second pizza and we were very upset because we were left stranded with no contact attempts by the server who was supposed to be taking care of us. Sadly, the server wasn’t very remorseful either so we will save our money and support the DiGiornio...

I have been long time customers of Pizza Cottage and will not be back. This is the second time in a row that our order has been wrong. I order the same sub each time...Ruthie's Way no tomatoes, Xtra cheese and extra mushrooms. Last time I got an over done steak, tomatoes, barely there mushrooms or cheese and black olives. Tonight overdone steak, something resembling a tomato, very few mushrooms and no cheese. I called to complain. Literally had to hold while being passed to three people only to be told that if I didn't want to return as a customer that was fine and they won't deliver (even when it was their mistake) to a residence. I expect better customer service and food. I will ho elsewhere...
