I’m not one that wants to leave a 1 star review. I will always attempt to work out the situation in a calm manner before expressing any experience on any social media platform. However, this experience was well beyond horrible. On Saturday the 23rd 2022, at approximately 430pm, after a very long day of moving, we ordered a total of 4 sandwiches. I ordered the Italian. Upon the first 2 bites of a footlong, I noticed a very fowl taste, like bad meat. I attempted to call but the listed number is not in service. I drove back to the store, with sandwich, and receipt. I was greeted by a young man, to which I explained the fowl taste. He immediately without care or, concerns, explained to me that he set up the line, been there all day, and assured me as he was digging through the sandwich I gave to him, the meat was not rotten. He explained this to me in a very spiteful manner. I simply asked him (since he was sarcastic) to taste it, he obviously refused.
I also asked if he would make a sandwich. Without hesitation he said absolutely not, and nor would I get a refund. I politely asked if I could talk to a manager, he grabbed his personal phone, to call the manager, as he walked to the back.
When he came back up front, he told me that I would not receive a refund or a sandwich remake. Well, I sure wasn’t going to take the fowl tasting sandwich that he just dug through back either. As he was speaking to the “manager” on the phone, and as I was attempting to explain my dissatisfaction, to him and the manger he was on the phone with, he told me to leave with nothing.
I asked who ownership group of this particular franchise was. He, at first, refused to tell me. Once I finally got it out of him who the ownership group was, I informed him that I would be calling them directly. Well actually it happens to be a business acquaintance whom I know personally. Before I left, I explained to them, that I would be calling that individual personally. He immediately turned pale white, explaining to his “manager” on the phone that I was calling him. This was as I was walking out.
Upon arriving home empty handed, I explained to my wife what had occurred. Apparently, she went to the location, started to explain to them what I had explained to her, and couldn’t give back the $6.00 quick enough.
A 6.00 sandwich wouldn’t break me at all. But for them to tell me that I would need to purchase another sandwich, after complaining about a footlong that had 2 bites taken out it if it, and putting me through everything I had to go through is absolutely unacceptable.
I will never step foot in this particular subway ever again. Well, I guess I can’t since the employee made very clear that I was to leave...
Read moreIt was approximately 4:32 when I ordered my food. On the app, it was stated that it would be ready at 4:55, giving them 23 minutes to make 3 simple subs and box 4 cookies. I and my father arrive around 5:10 giving them plenty of time for the order to be made. When we arrived there were at least 4 cars in the drive-through and at least 3-4 people in line waiting. As we got to the front of the line it was made clear they had been “booked” and they hadn't even started the order. We waited patiently for the food to be made as we are waiting the worker states to us that there is no more of the cookies we ordered, raspberry cheesecake, but as we looked over the rest of the cookies we had ordered was placed in another customers box. As soon as they ask us what we would like instead we reply we would like the double chocolate but once again the rest of that particular cookies were being placed in yet another box for that same customer. I got home after picking them up, had to drive back to the store and asked they remake them and make it right. The manager wanted to take food already 20 minutes old and thought she could just scrape off the stuff and toast it and just add sauce to the other. She then told me I had “ATTITUDE” left me waiting in the front for 10 minutes while she was in the back on the phone. When I told her I was going to take it up with Larry the owner, she got snotty and said “he is not the owner, good luck with that.” She was disrespectful and very unprofessional and refused to make it right.
