Bernie's Bar-B-Que — Restaurant in Greensboro

Ive been going to Bernies for over 25 years. They always have good, cook to order food. Today, they're out of chicken wings, so i ordered a cheeseburger. I am allergic to mustard, and specifically asked for my burger to be made with onions and tomato only. They brought my burger with onions and mustard on it. I sent it back and all they did was put it on another bun. I took a bite and immediately tasted the mustard that was still on the burger. So I told the waitress that I could not eat this, it still has mustard on it. She wanted to argue with me, so I pulled the burger apart and showed her the mustard still on the burger patty. She took it back, got into an arguement with the cook, because of the way they "fixed" my issue. Next thing I know, I'm asked to never return to Bernie's. I said that they made the mistake and they're taking it out on me. What a shame that these good "old" places want to make a big deal from their mistake. Working on the east side of Greensboro this morning and had to get me something to eat I honestly didn't want to wait for lunch so I settled on breakfast and found Bernie's BBQ on Google maps so I figured I would stop by, as I arrived I had a flashback of a memory and realized I have been here before but it was long ago so idk what I would have eaten here but I got the scrambled egg with bacon and a gravy biscuit with a pancake on the side and OMG 😳🥰 it reminded me of going to get breakfast when I was a little girl. It was so fresh and hot delicious and not too long of a wait l Service was great they are busy so expect a big crowd it is small but super cute and really feels like a diner. It reminds me of growing up in the country and there was no fast food restaurants around just a family...

Was in the area and wanted brisket.. Did a Google search for barbecue places near me, and to my surprise bernie's BBQ popped up and was only 1.4 Mi away from where I was. I drove over noted that it was a small building which for me meant a mom and pops kind of restaurant. Went inside, to my surprise brisket was the special of the day. The cashier was extremely helpful and I placed my order within 5 minutes, yes you heard me correctly within 5 minutes my order was ready and I was out the door. When I got home I did not even have to heat my brisket up it was absolutely delicious! I also had a side of pinto beans and potato salad. I like to have a little fat on my brisket just the way I liked it it was there! Can't wait to go back and visit and tell all my friends about this delicious...
