Night time is horrible, lazy staff who can't get a simple order correct. We were the ONLY people in line for drive through with an online order. No one was inside the store. So it was absolutely dead slow for them. We get our food, missing a sandwich and the ones we had were wrong. They get the manager out for it, argues and gets an attitude real quick. Takes the food back, comes back and says we were right about missing food, but still didnt fix the sandwiches that were incorrect. A baconator does not come with 1 single slice of bacon and lettuce shoved on it, nor does it come with pickles. We had 3 baconators, 1 requested lettuce and pickles, there other 2 were order as IS. And no ketchup or mayo on them when that is HOW they come by default without request. We also got a ghost pepper chicken sandwich that has ghost pepper battered onions on it, sorta what makes it a special order sandwich. They didnt put any on and just threw as much sauce as they could to make it spicy. I have no issues with my order being wrong, while I don't understand how you could mess it up when its on a big display for you and you dont have to rush and no one else is ordering. Im seriously okay 99% of the time with my orders being wrong. I mention it, usually people say sorry and then fix the order. I say no prob, stuff happens. But why send the manager out and suddenly get an attitude with us. WHEN WE WERE RIGHT. All we said was the order was missing stuff and not correct and you get mad at us. Im being as polite as humanly possible, I was saying thank sir, thank you ma'am. The employee running the window wouldnt even look me in the eyes and say anything back, just flat out ignored. How can...
Read moreMy wife and I have gone to this Wendy's of a semi-regular basis since we moved. About two weeks ago we went and my wife ordered the Asiago Chicken Ranch sandwich. The employee that made our sandwich failed to remove the wax paper from the cheese.
Even though this was disgusting and the paper was melted into the cheese making it impossible to remove and ruining my wife's meal, I figured mistakes happen. So I called the 800 number for Wendy's to make a complaint and give Wendy's a chance to make it right.
The lady on the phone seemed horrified at what occurred and apologized. She told me that because this location was a franchise the management there would be responsible for responding. I asked that I received a refund and she stated she would note that in the complaint. I asked how long it should take to get a response and she said it should be as soon as possible taking into account management's work schedule.
Well this was on January 18th. I have not been contacted by anyone. The money has not been refunded to my account. As I said before, mistakes happen. However, the lack of response and refusal to take responsibility for the mistake in unacceptable. We will not be going to this...
Read moreI have never been in such a ratchet place! I visited yesterday and the girl that ALWAYS makes my sandwich was being harassed by 2 men, and then the black man that was at the front counter. The back man at the counter is repeatedly appalling. He is constantly complaining about the workers there, anytime I go in with him there. I used to come thru the drive thru, the black woman there was getting worse and worse with her sandwiches. I decided to Try the diningroom. The older lady Phoenix made the sandwiches, and seemed happy, always friendly. Then, she changed. In the last month or so, she seemed very unhappy about being there with Melissa always saying something to her, then the black man continually on her. This makes customers uncomfortable when they here someone being ridiculed while making their food. I could not believe the way she was being treated and you could see it on her face. I don't know WHO hires these people you have working there pretending to be Managers, but I have told several of my co-workers about how their favorite "sandwich maker" was being taunted in public humiliation. We will spread the word, and will not be patronizing this Wendy's again. Summit Ave. is...
