Royal Pizza House — Restaurant in Greensburg

Since I became a member of the fine city of Greensburg, I had wanted to try out some of the local establishments that simply were out of my way when I lived in Latrobe. One of those places was the Royal Pizza House, which I finally got to try out today. Because they have the Monday Large with one topping special, I figured it would be a great place to start, along with an order of the provolone cheese sticks

(And, as an aside, I am so glad they actually call it by its true name and not just a🧀 stick like a LOT of other places do, because it's kind of lazy and doesn't do it true justice).

The 🍕was pretty good, it had a unique taste to the sauce, but being a veteran of the take-out pizza game, it's nothing that I was not prepared for. I wasn't prepared for how good the crust tasted, as it had sort of a pretzel quality to it, which I enjoyed. And this is coming from someone who doesn't enjoy pizza crust unless it is epic, or stuffed, etc.

I'm not entirely sure who this woman is that many people have lampooned, because I had a gentlemen wait on me, and he was pretty nice.

Their pizza tastes better than every other place I have tried. Actually, this place is called Royal Pizza House, not Royals Pizza like it lists here in Google. No Italian restaurant, at least around here, knows how to make white pizza properly in my opinion! -Face palms.- Royal Pizza House is the only pizza place in all of Pennsylvania who seems to get it right. Ask for it with tomatoes added if you get it. Trust me, white pizza should NEVER have "white sauce". It has an olive oil on it and garlic. These people do it right and it is literally the ONLY place I now trust to make my pizza right. I used to buy white pizza from Larry and Carols close to 40 years ago, but they went out of business. These guys make their pizza taste precisely like the original Larry and Carols. Once you try their white pizza with tomatoes you might never want another pizza from anyone else again. Yeah, they make many types of pizza, not just white pizza, but I am VERY VERY VERY partial to that...

You go in the place the older lady that works there touches food with her bare hands the pizza she don't wear gloves . She isn't friendly at all . The place isn't clean. They don't have menu's at all I've asked several times for menu's I get the run around that thay haven't been in yet you can't see prices so you have to go by what they say on the prices. Then the older lady goes off. They don't talk nice at all to you . Very unprofessional. The food isn't good at all either . It's not worth the money for it . I'll never be back in the place ever again. Very unsanitary conditions place needs shut down to be honest I'm a no bones about it person I tell it like it is .
