I love trying new coffee shops…However, I was very disappointed in the customer service I received. I heard about this place in the local area, so I was very excited to try it. So I liked their page on Facebook. Then I saw they were advertising these cute gingerbread cups for your coffee drinks. Thought they were the cutest thing ever! So I commented on the page to ask if they were still available. I received no response. So I decided take a drive to the cafe. When I got there, the parking was very limited. As I went inside, I had asked politely if they had any gingerbread cups. As I waited in line to be served, the girl who took my order, was not friendly at all! She just stated that they were sold out. I had told her that I tried texting and messaging on Facebook and no response. She had no compassion whatsoever. Then, after I checked out, all the tables were reserved. I mean what cafe doesn’t have a place to sit? It felt crammed inside. The girls were very stuck up and not warm and inviting whatsoever. After I left, I thought to myself I am not sure that I’ll be back, but I really want that gingerbread cup lol. So I thought I’d try to send another message again to see if a new order came back in. Still no response. Until after I stated that I thought it was very rude and unprofessional to not respond. So after all that, I finally got a call for an apology for the poor customer service I received and was offered a free gingy cup. At that point, I felt it was necessary to express how I felt and decline the offer. Luckily, I found the gingerbread cups on Amazon. So if you missed your opportunity on getting a gingy cup, you can get them on Amazon. Who needs a small greedy business who doesn’t appreciate ALL...
Read moreI’ve been here around 10 times now, hoping each time that if I give it one more chance that it’ll be better next time to no avail. Every drink I’ve tried (seasonal lattes, chai, matcha) has had little flavor and most of the time watered down tasting (I’ve only gotten iced drinks). I also think that doing flight “reservations” when there is already not nearly enough seating to accommodate customers doesn’t help. I wasn’t even going to bother making a review but what changed my mind is reading through numerous other low star reviews and the responses that the “owner” gave really solidified my decision… no accountability was taken and most of them are downright rude and accusatory. As they say, they’re no hate like Christian love and since one of my least favorite things about this place is the obnoxious religious push their responses to other reviews absolutely solidified my decision to 1) never support them again, 2) leave my own review, and 3) make as many people aware of this as possible. Takeaway: extremely overpriced and mid drinks, very little room for customers, and customer service (mostly from the “owner” behind the scenes - staff in the store has always been fine for me) is very sub par and not worth the money or hassle.
*edit: as I predicted, owners response was equally as dismissive, passive aggressive, and accusatory as all the other responses they have given to any low-star reviews. I was respectful and did provide constructive criticism while making my concerns clear which they attempt to invalidate. Can’t wait to use this response in my collage of similar behavior to post on my TikTok review! Thanks cuties for making it...
Read moreThe shop is very aesthetically pleasing & picturesque, however the coffee is lacking. If you’re a true coffee connoisseur, you will be disappointed. The coffee is just too sugary sweet and watered down. I know the shop is new, but it was a bit overly chaotic than necessary. First off, no names are taken for orders so the barista making and handing off drinks just shouts the drink names, of which multiple customers have ordered, leaving everyone guessing whose it is. People were taking the wrong drinks but not on purpose. The space is very small, tables and seating are available but it’s very tight, practically interfering with customer traffic flow. I was worried about finding parking but to my surprise, I was able to get a spot in the lot across the street. Overall, it’s a cute coffee shop but it’s just not for me.
*Update & reply to CC response: My overall review is not based on parking, I mentioned it not being a problem. As a new customer, I would not know to tell the barista to dial back on the sweetness. Other larger chain and local coffee shops I've had regular flavored coffees from have never tasted so sweet and watered down. There wasn't advertisement of any sugar free options available on the menu either, and if that is something I wanted, I would've asked if it was an option. As far as the ordering process, no names from credit card holders were labeled on any drinks being handed out when I was there and it was obvious the barista didn't have any knowledge of who the drink was intended for when yelling out orders. Not sure if this was due to employee error or your kiosk malfunctioning when orders...
